Lovely young family, cozy cabin, and very accommodating hosts!

Olivia’s place is just awesome. I don’t think there can be a better place to spend time in Fox glacier region. Incredible views, spotless cottage, with all the amenities you can think of. There is so much thought put into every minute detail- the decor, cutlery, furniture, upholstery - right from the colour of the mugs to the lamps, to bath salt and candle - everything is flawless. Lucky to have been here. Lovely, responsive host. Enjoyed the hot tub as well. Great great stay.

Wow what a stunning spot! So serene, beautiful surroundings and the property is everything you could dream of. Great products, well set up in terms of cooking, fire place etc. The outdoor bath was a highlight!

If you are thinking about staying here - stay here! A standout experience of thoughtful accommodation. Guided to the cabin by solar lights on the driveway, the cabin was spotless and welcoming. The spa is fantastic, and the surroundings are stunning. Lots to do in the surrounding areas but plenty to keep you occupied just on the property. A favourite Airbnb stay for sure!

My partner and I had a really good time at the River Escape. The cabin was clean and tidy. We love all of the thought and attention that Kim & Shane put into the place. Having a wine over a fire, soaking under the stars, and canoeing in the sunset/sunrise are some of the experiences you don’t want to miss. We will definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Lee’s cabin! The views were beautiful and it was lovely to end the day in the outdoor hot tub - so relaxing! We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and will return next time we visit the West Coast. 😊

Stunning quiet location, very warm and cozy, great shower pressure and absolutely loved the pool table! Didn’t miss having a tv at all - lovely to be off-grid for a change. Huge deck which is all covered and would’ve been great if it was raining! But we had beautiful weather so also had no issues with solar power. Felt very lucky to be able to have our dogs with us. They had the best time too. Thanks so much, we had a great couple of nights.

Thanks for sharing your wee spot with us. Super peaceful. Loved the outdoor bath and logburner. The beds were very comfy too and warm duvets snd blankets! Lincoln and Leeston very close for a coffee or dinner. Drove to Taumutu.....wild and wonderful beach for walking. Amazing colours.

Where to start! Michelle & Grants place was absolutely amazing - The hangar itself has everything you could need a beautiful deck for the sunshine and a log burner for the colder evenings, not to mention they allow dogs which is so amazing and really makes for a great wee getaway for the whole family. Grant also took off in his plane which was so cool to see close up and was so helpful and friendly when we had any questions. We will definitely be back and cannot rate this place highly enough!

James was a great host, very helpful and even gave us an upgrade. The setting was great and next to an incredible beach. Bostin!

Place was cute. Got in late and left early so didn’t get to see anything because there was so much fog. I think in better weather and timing it would be absolutely beautiful. Comfortable bed and warm inside. The bathroom and shower are combined which meant that I had to wait 20mins to use the bathroom and just ended up driving up the road to use the toilet which was inconvenient.

We had such a beautiful stay here and really enjoyed everything about it. Feeling disconnected from the world and in our own little private slice of paradise, plus the private sauna, the comfort and lovely attention to details... everything was great :) . We will definitely return.

This place was ideal for my writing retreat. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Having a writing desk and a proper computer chair was a real bonus and meant I could get on with my work and not end up with back ache. Lovely barn eggs and milk left for me too. I already am thinking about when I can come again! Thank you so much for everything!

A beautifully rustic cabin close to popular walking tracks. We arrived after dark, and it was difficult to find the cabin despite directions. Having to make up the beds on arrival and strip them on departure was unexpected. Jessie was a responsive host and I would recommend her delightful cabin.

Awesome place to stay. Pete's place is very warm and has amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The amenities make you feel like you are at home!

Peaceful little shack in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for our week stay in Christchurch. Lesley was very helpful and always responsive. Would definitely stay again.
