As the guest house on our property of 5 acres, the cabin is privately located bordering vast public lands. Wander the property, hike the canyon trail, or take in the changing light from the wood-fired hot tub (or use it with fresh cold water!). Perfectly suited for two with plenty of extra space to explore.

An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

Recharge at this romantic retreat, complete with outdoor sauna. The cabin independently nestles on a forested hillside at the top of Trepenier Bench, overlooking Pincushion and Okanagan Mountain. Hello and welcome to Bluebird Cottage. We are located 1 mile up a dirt road in the Isabella Highlands overlooking Lake Isabella. Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. We are approximately a 3 hour Drive to Sequoia National Park. We are a 2 hour drive from Death Valley National Park. We are a 4 hour drive from Yosemite. We are 3 hr drive from Los Angeles. Bluebird Cottage is a cozy tiny home with a private outdoor space. Incredible views!
