A luxury in the central city, is the garage for off street parking for one small car. Free overnight parking off the street is available for a larger car. The building is located in one of Christchurch's thriving hotspots, the Victoria Street Precinct, complete with various top-rated restaurants. Hagley and Victoria Parks, The Art Gallery, Museum, Town Hall and Avon River are within walking distance. The choices are many and varied depending on your desire. Certainly walking is pleasant and convenient within the central city. Driving in Christchurch is easy and parking is readily available. Perhaps hire an electric bike dropped off to your door. Taxis are plentiful and the public bus from the airport to the city passes 1 minute away. Christchurch airport is a very easy 20 minute drive from the apartment Please note that the bedrooms and main bathroom is upstairs. There is no sleeping accomodation downstairs. Netflix is available for your entertainment should you choose to stay inand of course there is free wifi. Our home is 'on the beach' and is situated midway between Greymouth and Punakaiki. We offer a self contained unit on the ground floor of our home. The beach is just a few steps away and is great for walking. Punakaiki is 20 minutes from the house, Greymouth is also 20 minutes and Hokitika airport is a 50 minute drive to the south. Greymouth offers a range of eateries and there is a pub and hotel in Punakaiki. We are situated on state high way 6, which is well known for its spectacular scenery.
