The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. Te Whare o Kea - A tiny house with a big heart!

Te Whare o Kea provides simple shelter for trampers, bikers and other nature lovers. The location also makes it perfect for a retreat. It is a non profit social enterprise and a Gold Kea Sponsor, donated over $20,000 to the Kea Conservation Trust. It also supports monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Located in the serene small settlement of Cass in the Cass Caravan Park amongst the majestic Alps. Awesome outdoor bath - great for stargazing. There are balconies on three sides of the tower.
