We had a wonderful Easter weekend in Salisbury! The home was cozy, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short drive to town centre in salisbury to the cathedral and lovely local spots. Perfect for those who want a country lane and country trail walk to stonehenge! Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure we felt right at home. We’d happily come back again—highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

I spent a month at this countryside retreat, and it truly felt like home. Nestled in a stunning valley, the hut offers breathtaking views and a peaceful escape. Waking up to rolling hills and sheep grazing nearby made each morning feel special. The hosts, Karen and Brian, were incredibly kind and welcoming—always ready to help with anything needed. They went above and beyond to make the stay exceptional. Five-star hosts! The hut itself is modern yet cozy, with thoughtful eco-friendly touches. The wool duvet and mattress were not only comfortable but also a nod to sustainability. For anyone seeking a break from city life, this is the perfect retreat. The sounds of birds and sheep enhance the peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere. Whether hiking, taking long walks, or relaxing in the hot tub, it’s a place to truly switch off. Ideal for a romantic getaway—secluded, serene, and surrounded by nature. Highly recommend for recharging and reconnecting with nature.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hut. Fiona was a really great host who came out to us even though it was late and raining! The hut was super warm on arrival and it has an internal heater and towel rail which is nice. It was also nice to be welcomed with some baked goods which we enjoyed the next morning. The bed was super comfy and we slept really well. The hot tub was nice to relax in… you get all the stuff provided for it which is good and on previous experiences this isn’t always the case. We used the Fire pit and you get some cushions to use which are under the bed and extra blankets which again is really nice. It’s exceptionally well thought out and the lord of added extras make it really nice. Would deffo return

We had a wonderful family stay at Paul's AirBnB. The home is perfect for a family or friends trip. Great rooms, huge open plan kitchen/ living area and a larder for storage with washing machine/ dish washer. We honestly would give more than 5 stars if we could. If you're looking for a beautiful home, amazing views and great walks (or short drives) to local landmarks (or pubs!) then look no further. Our toddler (20 months) had a great time in the gated garden or using the New Forest as his play area, and was beside himself when the horses would walk right past the house. Paul was on hand to answer any questions we had, an excellent host! We'd absolutely stay again!

I had a lovely stay at Frank’s hut in Tilshead. It felt peaceful and private but Frank was a very responsive and helpful host. The hut itself was immaculate and cleverly designed to maximise space, with comforts like a nearby shower and underfloor heating. Added touches like brownies and breakfast tray were great. I fell asleep listening to rain on the roof and woke up to sheep and birdsong - bliss! Would love to return and explore the area more.

Amazing Air Bnb, Tracey was a fantastic host welcoming even before we arrived. Perfect for feeling out in nature but also being able to enjoy a bit of luxury. Our son loved the goats, ducks, fire pit and the hot tub as did we. He especially loved meeting Roly the Dog! Really unique and relaxing experience in a great location for various different activities. Tracey has the balance just right of ensuring you have lots of privacy but also feel really at home and welcome to chat and ask questions. The actual hut has everything you need inside and an amazing view of the sunset and then the stars on a clear night. Thankyou Tracey :)

Simply perfect! I'd like to say our stay was terrible so no-one else finds this fantastic hide-away but I can't. As soon as we stepped inside, we immediately relaxed. The decor and view create a peaceful environment that we all enjoyed. The pool and fire-pit were the kids favourite. Easy walk into Lyme Regis with lots of independent shops, fossil hunting and restaurants. Mike has been brilliant - communication has been excellent. We were all super sad to leave! Hopefully we will get back there soon.

Amazing place to stay for a spontaneous getaway. Very peaceful within the woodland and the hosts were lovely! Wood fired hot tub is the perfect treat at the end of the day. Looking forward to staying again.

Jenny was a great host! The Cabin was spotless on arrival! Very cosy and well equipped... As previous guests had noted the bed is super comfy!! The outside area for dogs is brilliant. Definitely recommend the Culm Valley Inn! Fantastic atmosphere - delicious home cooked food - 15 min walk. Strand Stores serve an incredible breakfast and sell high quality local produce! We also enjoyed a nice day out at Sidmouth beach..

100% recommend staying here. The pictures are exactly what it’s like in person and more! The attention to detail was amazing, everything you need for your stay is there. They even had hot chocolate and marshmallows for a cosy night around the fire-pit. Communication with the host was very formative, clear and in timely manner. We would definitely return as it is the perfect relaxing getaway but also walks/restaurants close. Thankyou so much!

Clean, comfortable, and super peaceful. Chris is a top bloke and his place is the ideal getaway. The hut is a short walk from all of the amenities yet a stones throw from the woods and gorge, and having free rein of the private garden with viewing platform is a lovely touch. Wonderful!

We had the most wonderful time at Danette’s shepherds hut. The views, wildlife and peace were incredible and the location was great for trips out with the dogs. We loved the attention to details in the hut, it made the experience very homely. Danette’s communication with us was great, she kept us up to date from start to finish. I am already looking forward to returning on our next trip!

Had a lovely stay over Easter weekend for my wife’s birthday. Very cosy cabin with all the essentials. Really well located for day trips by car or by bike. A short walk to the Silver Hinde and Hare and Hounds in the village which were both great for dinner. Even though the cabin is on the farm it is tucked away with privacy. Amanda couldn’t have been more helpful and was in touch to see whether we needed more firewood for the hot tub or fire pit and offered to light the hot tub for us if we were out and about. Overall a great stay

Lovely weekend away with beautiful views and a very peaceful area. We loved staying here at felt very relaxed. The hot tub was lovely especially at nighttime with the clear skies. The hut had everything we needed and had plenty of space. Would defiantly come here again.

Thank you for letting us stay in your delightful shepherd's hut. It was a really special place and private. It was a great setting for the dogs which made it extra relaxing for us.

The Croft was a lovely place to stay. So cosy with great views. Easy to find footpaths within walking distance and great places to eat nearby. Katie and Ted weren’t far away if we needed any help but also didn’t encroach on our privacy. I’d definitely return and stay again, if they’d have us!
