Perfect stay for a large group wishing to have both a taste of rural Scotland and the bright lights of the city! Great house for large groups with more than adequate cooking facilities. Excellent hot tub that was kept meticulously clean. The hosts were amazing and so helpful with helping me organise a stag weekend. Sharing local knowledge and recommendations of activities and hostelries, etc. Milngavie is a perfect location to explore both Glasgow city (20 minute train ride) and hit the start of the West Highland Way! Milngavie was a nice little town itself with an active high street and a good Tesco and station just a 3 minute walk from Pleasant Hill. We really enjoyed Fullbacks sports bar as well- good value food and an atmosphere. Activities we enjoyed from Pleasant Hill were a walk to Glengoyne Distillery, afternoon and night out in West End Glasgow and a speed boat pub tour of Loch Lomond! Thanks again Chris!

Caravan was beautiful inside & out it was. spotless , it had everything you need & more and the small personal touches such a the welcome food items , toiletries , cleaning products the caravan had everything you could possibly want or need .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

We so loved our stay at the Fruin Cottage! The most peaceful surroundings and a lovely walk just up the road with gorgeous views of Loch Lomond. It was the perfect spot to cozy up after a day exploring the area!

It was a great location for us as a family to spend time in Balloch and the greater Glasgow area. The place was great with all amenities as expected. Although there is some restaurants near the place, there was no noise audible from there or from the busy road network.

We had a fantastic stay at the house, Laura was an excellent host and the house worked well with kids. I’d definitely stay here again.

A group of 9 of us headed down for a stag do and were very impressed with the property. It was extremely clean and spacious with a beautiful modern interior. The downstairs cellar/bar area was a great place to relax and play pool and a lot of us made use of the spacious hot tub as well. The property was easy to find and had everything we needed, everyone had a great time. We had a little bit of trouble with the lockbox situation and the keyfob for the barrier to the car park but that was possibly just because it was dark. All in all we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend and visit again.

We had a fantastic stay. The place is spotlessly clean, beds and sofas very comfortable, and has everything you would need. Claire is a kind host - she took the time to send some tailored recommendations of things to do, which I hugely appreciated, and left us some Easter goodies to enjoy. The surroundings are very peaceful, we enjoyed waking up to views of sheep eating their breakfast in the field and it’s a great place to unwind in the outdoor hot tub. Very easy to drive towards Loch Lomond and beyond, and also accessible to Glasgow airport. Highly recommend staying here.

great location for station, easy accommodation for short stay

Memorable stay for our family of four. Lovely spot between the quaint town of Drymen and Loch Lomond. Convenient location in central Scotland - close to Glasgow, easy drive to Edinburgh, and good access some of the most scenic areas of the Highlands. Friendly, responsive hosts. Cozy, comfortable cottage. Well fitted kitchen. Only small issue was low water pressure in the showers. We’d definitely return.

My friends and I stayed over at Aliona’s place for pitstop in Glasgow for one night. The place was super clean and exactly how it is in the description. Checking in was easy as Alionas instructions were clear and precise. Great place in a neighbourhood with all amneties in nearby. Would recommend it to anyone.

Logement propre et impeccable, très bien rangé. Il y a tout le nécessaire à l'intérieur. C'est possible de se garer dans la rue, on a eu une place à chaque fois. Le seul bémol serait l'isolation phonique, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans la maison et aussi le chauffage est réglé pour ne fonctionner qu'à certaines heures donc le matin il fait froid en bas, il faut trouver comment régler le chauffage. Sinon tout est ok, je recommande.

Perfect place to stay on the west side of Glasgow. Easy car access to all local areas. Would recommend.

Great house in a beautiful location. The size of the rooms was perfect for our group. The hot tub was ready for us arriving and the fridge was generously stocked with complimentary drinks! The hosts were very prompt and helpful with their responses to our messages. Thank you for a great weekend!
