Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

Newburgh, Fife is an historical town. In the 18th century linen was woven in weaving sheds and cottages which still reflects in its architecture today. The town is sandwiched between the river Tay and a hillside providing ample walks and other sport activities. Many visitors start on the ‘ Fife Coastal Walk’ from this location. The chapel has excellent wifi. The town is self sufficient with shops, post office, chemist, doctors, dentist, garage, gallery and its very own distillery!

Deer Park cottage is situated within the private Scottish estate garden and is surrounded by the deer park. It is the most secluded of cottages and offers a very private and natural hideaway. Powered by wood pellet boiler and on its own water system supplied from the Ochills you can feel completely at one with nature. On occasions you can wake up to deer grazing within feet of your bedroom window and be lulled to sleep by the hooting of owls or wind blowing through the trees.
