I had an amazing stay, the neighbourhood was so quiet and safe! Considering the time I got in from my outing. The place was exactly as described, clean, cozy and well equipped. The location is well placed, making it easy to explore the area and everything you'll need is literally walking distance away. They kindly put a welcome guide in their property which can help you with transport, activities or even restaurants which you don't normally see. The hosts went that extra mile so I thought it was quite thoughtful and helpful. I will definitely be rebooking during the summer to see the amazing views as this was a quick last minute trip.

What an incredible place!! There was lots of really interesting information available about the location - the only national reserve where you can stay the night! The hut was very cosy, and the fireplace kept us very warm. It was quite easy to use the kitchen, just keep your meals simple. We were treated kindly and inclusively. I would recommend this to anyone!

A lovely place to retreat to with my partner. The place was secluded enough to feel like our own private paradise, with every amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Great location, the flat is spacious and has amazing views of the river. Close to lots of nice bars, restaurants and shops. Good communication from the host. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful lockside property, amazing location with two great pubs right across the way. House was nice and cosy when we arrived and the heating was great all weekend long. We especially loved the conservatory where we at our breakfast in the sun. Perfect for dogs and lots of beautiful walks nearby. Would definitely return in summer. Great stay thank you

Jason’s place was wonderful for our little family and super close to old town and new town. Sara’s was great for brunch Sunday morning and the Library playground and library were great for my little one on Saturday.

Beautiful stay with stunning nature! Our hosts were wonderful and helpful with anything we needed, suggestions of great restaurants and scenic views. The cafe is a minute walk away and always had fantastic meals and the perfect cup of coffee. The cottage was absolutely amazing, we were well stocked with firewood for cozy nights and felt right at home. Huge thanks, this was a great getaway!

We had a short but wonderful stay, during the half term break. There was so much to do in the local area for the kids, with a good park just at the end of the road as well. We always drove, and the town centre was less than five mins away. Same as the beachfront with all the amusements, restaurants, and Adventure Island which was perfect for the kids. The house itself was very good, with parking. Very spacious with lounge, dining area, and a beautiful kitchen. I also managed to get some work done in the "study area" too. All round a good stay.

we had a lovely stay at Rosemary's Retreat. Very comfortable and quiet, away from main road. There was plenty of tea and coffee, including a coffee machine with Tassino pods. Rosemary was very welcoming, a first class host. we would definitely stay here again

Lovely ,clean house with lots of space. Nice quiet area. Comfortable beds and settee. Fast internet, variety of books and games to enjoy if required.

the host was amazing and responsive. they had a small issue which delayed us getting into the property on time however they arranged alternative accommodation somewhat closeby. we were already aware of the area as I have family on the same estate. friendly neighbours too. bin men need a talking to about their attitude but that's a council problem. thank you for giving us a great home away from home experience for the past month. the house is beautiful and nicely shaded. only downfall is washing struggles to dry in the shade but we made it work! thank you

I recently stayed at this apartment and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place was spotless—very clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the stunning view, which made every morning and evening feel special. The location is perfect—convenient, safe, and close to everything you might need. What really stood out to me was how helpful and responsive the host was. Anytime I called, he answered immediately and was always available, no matter the time. His attention and care really made the stay even more comfortable. I 100% recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I will definitely be coming back again and again

We had a very good stay, had everything we required for our stay. Comfortable bed, so slept well which is always a bonus. Excellent location, couldnt of been better.
