Great stay! Beautiful house & garden with amazing surroundings (a stunning beach is not even 5 minutes away by foot) and great host who was really helpful and friendly. Can definitely recommend this place!

Incredible views! Thank you Sue for sharing your little piece of paradise with us :) A cosy cottage with everything you need. We had such a fun + relaxing weekend - loved the peace + quiet, and exploring along the rocky shoreline... even saw an octopus! Can't wait to stay again.

Remi has a really awesome spot. You can’t get better - it’s right on the beach. The house is a beautiful rustic beach house, we have a great time there. Remi was also a great host, super friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back and stay exactly there!

We just returned from a (too brief!) stay at Hans' place and are already planning our next visit. The house is modern, immaculate and comfortable, but the location is absolutely incredible. The kids would have happily spent our entire visit down at the beach, and we enjoyed starting and ending our days (with coffee or wine in hand) walking down the path to the shore and sitting on a bench taking in the view while they splashed about. On our next visit we will plan fewer excursions and build in more down time to spend at the house just enjoying the property and the amazing location.

We had lovely time. The weather was a little chilly so the heated pool was a bonus. Unfortunately my daughter got ill during our stay but the house is located around the corner from a doctor surgery which was really great, and even though we did not get an opportunity to go to the beach, the bar area with pool table/table tennis/darts and the board games in the house kept us entertained. Good selection of entertainment on the TV too.

We had a lovely and comfortable stay. We were two families of four with young kids. Couldn’t have asked for a better location with the beach on your doorstep and we felt right at home. The house was wonderfully equipped and has everything you need to make your stay as easy as possible and wonderfully clean. We would happily go back and would recommend.

We had an amazing time at the guest house which falls right onto a peaceful beach. The braai and outside eating area is well sheltered and perfect for dinner. This is our second visit, and Kyle has been an excellent host both time! Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of staying at Rochelle and her husband’s beautiful house in Melkbosstrand for a work group getaway, and it was absolutely fantastic! Although we were only there for one night, we truly wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful—Rochelle and her husband met us at the house, explained everything we needed to know, and even let us check in early, which we really appreciated. The house was super clean and had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was amazingly well-equipped, and the sea views were just breathtaking. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a getaway. Thanks again, Rochelle and your husband, for making our short stay so memorable!

We as a family loved staying here. Really comfortable for a big family. Great braai area sheltered from the wind with wonderful sea views. I am not a fan of residential areas butbI did enjoy Kommetjie over what is supposed to be a busy weekend. Long walks and cold swims with very little humans.

Wonderful place. Beautiful house, nice interior with a perfect location directly at the beach. We will definitely come back to this place in case we are back in Cape Town.

This charming property is perfectly situated and offers unbelievable beauty! It truly is an incredible home perfect for a family that loves outdoors and enjoys some privacy at dinner times! We made unforgettable memories!

The place is beautiful, but you gonna freeze to death there, no heaters, and they got electricity problem, you gonna stay in darkness for straight 6hrs, the back up batteries doesn’t work, the fact that the full house has only 2 bathroom was a huge turn off, rooms are not ensuit… Host is very rude, they don’t care about guest, she kicks you out when it’s 10 on the day of check out.. we won’t go back there

We spent 3 wonderful days at Salty Splash - you cannot get closer to the sea with a lovely wooden deck with wood burning hot tub ( kol-kol) and access to a shared swimming pool. The views over the bay, especially at sunset are breathtaking. We were welcomed with a lovely gift basket including wine, fruit and even a Lindt chocolate for Easter. Ap’s communication was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. The accommodation is very nicely appointed with a well- equipped kitchen and there are there are several local good restaurants. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

We had an unforgettable stay at Martinique beach villa. The location was absolutely perfect - just steps from the ocean, with breathtaking views and direct beach access. The villa is beautifully decorated, with a modern yet relaxed coastal feel that made us feel right at home. Wilson gave us a warm welcome and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We were lucky to have the best weather, and spent most of our time either swimming in the ocean, lounging by the pool or soaking up the sun on the rooftop deck. As a family that loves to cook, we really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. We truly had the best time and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beachfront escape in Langebaan.

We had an amazing stay at The Beach House! The views were absolutely breathtaking, with the beach visible from almost every corner of the house. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to the fresh sea breeze made it such a relaxing getaway. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. It was also a big bonus that it’s pet-friendly—our dog loved having the space to roam, which isn’t always easy to find. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. We’ll definitely be back!

A house with so much character, filled with personal objects and lovely books. We had some chilly days and enjoyed the fireplace and the super cosy living room. Also the outside fireplace and oven are incredible. A place with a soul.

Stunning views all day long, felt right at home! We stayed there for 3 weeks and absolutely loved the house! Would definitely comeback. The pool/ outside area is even better than the pictures. Nice balcony with always a bit of shade, plenty of lounger chairs and great outside braai. The house is very spacious, has 3 proper rooms with views and 1 another back room that doesn’t have windows or a proper door but still has quite some light and 2 single beds. Appliances could have a refresh but the location, feeling of the house, stunning views and welcoming vibes/ flexibility of the host truly makes up for it! Thanks a lot!

We had a wonderful few days at this extremely well-equipped home. The location is wonderful and very private, with views overlooking the beach and the dunes. The beach is a wonderful long stretch that you can walk for miles on. The living space is perfect for a family to enjoy time together, and loved making use of indoor fireplace to watch a movie. Most of all this place is great value for money! Highly recommend

This is magnificent beach house - the house is super comfortable and clean and invite’s you to relax and make yourself at home from the start. The meet and greet was warm and welcoming and easy. What’s really incredible is the level to which the kitchen is equipped, designed and put together - so unbelievably well - puts my own home kitchen to shame 🙂 we were a group of 4 adults - we each had a bed room and a bathroom and we’re very happy and comfy. To top it all the week had the most fab warm weather and the holiday will always hold very special memories for us of a fun fam vacay which gets 10/10 from us.

Excellent location and most peaceful stay. Romansbaai is a great location. Check-in was easy and hosts were great. A few small niggles with the braai on the patio and the walk down to the beach with a 3yo, but a truly spectacular stay. Will be back.
