The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. A unique stay on Lough Erne. This fully floating house boat is finished to an exceptional standard. The accommodation is open plan with a full size double bed, and a sofa bed that converts to a double bed. A travel cot can included upon request. There is a fully functioning kitchen complete with electric hob, oven & fridge. Outside there is a Weber charcoal BBQ for guests use (fuel not included). There is a full shower room. All bedding & towels are provided.

Located at the Tybee Island Marina on Lazaretto Creek, along the western boundary of Tybee Island, The Houseboat offers spectacular sunrise and sunset views nestled in a serene spot between the beach on Tybee or a day exploring Savannah. Due to its location on a floating dock in a tidal creek, with low tides making for a difficult/steep transition between the floating and stationary docks, The Houseboat is not ideal for guests with mobility issues.
