Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. If you're looking for a condo in the Sapphire Valley Resort don't hesitate to book Heather's place! It was fully stocked with everything we needed and honestly the cleanest Airbnb we've ever stayed at!!! It was a super easy check in/out process, the decor was super charming, beds were so comfy, and Heather had really high quality shower/kitchen supplies. We were pleasantly surprised with all the extra touches! In addition to this we also really enjoyed the pool, lake, playground, and arcade. It was the perfect family getaway!

Great place to stay - a covered outdoor seating area with a great view is provided and the room is just as pictured. Very clean and quiet - just what we were looking for. We are very happy with our stay.

Our family had a fantastic trip, and Phillip was extremely proactive with communication and great recommendations for restaurants and fun activities nearby. The house had everything we were looking for and is very comfortable and inviting. They also stocked the kitchen with basic items you usually have to remember to bring…including a full variety of spices, oil, coffee, etc. The property itself is where this rental really shines! Beautiful view of Lake Glenville and the house is nestled in a peaceful cove with an impressive waterfall just across the way. There are several outdoor seating areas that make it PERFECT for whatever you’re looking to do. For those wanting to really get away to a quiet retreat, look no further! We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I truly loved this house! We knew we would enjoy ourselves from the minute we walked in and looked at the lake view from the front door! The house had everything we needed for a weekend on the lake....a big backyard, kayaks, towels, a fire pit, and games. The master bedroom and bathroom are gorgeous! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Wonderful homes that allowed us to celebrate Christmas together. We want to come back in the summer.

Such a beautiful place! Something about it just had the right vibe--peaceful, cozy, comfortable and inviting. I spent the first day here on a solo-cation with my dog. Loved having coffee on the patio, curling up with a book on the comfy couch, and trying a new recipe for dinner in the well stocked kitchen. The second day I had my family over and they had a great time. The place isn't huge, but somehow felt spacious, open and accommodating for everyone. Loved the ample seating outside and we had a great time around the fire pit. Bathroom was pristine and beds were super clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and quick to respond. Would definitely rent this place again in the future:)

We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home! It is clean, beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. Tammy was wonderful to communicate with and was so thoughtful with leaving us her homemade cinnamon raisin sourdough bread which was delicious. She also even left a basket of Easter eggs filled with treats as our stay was the week of Easter! Definitely one of the best Air bnb properties we have ever stayed in and hope to return one day!

Great condo in the mountains. Was visiting for a wedding so a very short stay but this condo had everything we needed. Spacious for a condo and gorgeous patio/porch. Hope to return in the fall and enjoy it longer with all the amenities available.

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and the first time we visited SML. Our experience was great from our initial inquiry regarding boat launching, docking, and trailer storage at check-in to our departure 5 days later. Armand obtained the info and map links from the security office that we needed to launch the boat and store the trailer. which made it easy once we arrived. The view from the condo is beautiful any time of the day, but the view of the sunrise across the lake behind the mountain is absolutely stunning. We were very comfortable and felt at home during our stay. If you have a boat, bring it, you can’t beat waking down to the dock on this water playground with marinas, restaurants, beaches, and shops to visit. We’re looking forward to returning in the Spring.

Mick’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend with my son! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was lovely and the directions were all very straightforward. The view of the lake from the porch swing was beautiful, we spent a lot of the time parked right there. It was very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. All of the amenities of Bernard’s Landing were great for entertaining a 9 year old as well. We visited the indoor pool and the beach and enjoyed the restaurant. We were a little disappointed to find that the outdoor pools weren’t open yet as it was in the 80’s, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Kathleen’s condo is wonderful, very clean with tremendous views of Smith Mountain Lake and the mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this for a getaway of relaxation and rest, but also in close proximity to a lot of great activities. Thank you, Kathleen.

I really loved the decor throughout and the kitchen was perfectly laid out which made meal time easy. The location is a really pretty spot and we even had Thanksgiving at the club! I would definitely go back again.

Absolutely perfect for our needs! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessities, making our stay stress-free. The host truly thought of everything and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. She was incredibly responsive and accommodating, always quick to answer any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—highly recommend!

April & Derek’s condo was beautiful and included all the necessities and more that we enjoyed while staying there - from washer pods, dryer sheets, extra paper towels, trash bags, coffee pods & seasonings. The one and only down side was the lake was inaccessible and drained on the side we were facing because of the restoration work due to hurricane devastation. We were able to take the kids to the indoor pool, we played mini golf and corn hole and they also had an Easter egg hunt & visit from the Easter Bunny on Saturday. We would love to return when the lake has been restored because it’s a very nice resort only two hours away from us. Oh and the views driving around the towns are amazing.
