Our family had a great time at Connie’s! The kids had loads to do in the game room and we all enjoyed the scenic views and relaxing environment. Bathrooms were also super clean. The refrigerator is enormous and was helpful because there aren’t too many food places around so we cooked a lot. Connie was responsive and friendly. We would recommend her place!

I stayed here with my three kids for a little getaway, and we had the best time. The place was super clean and spacious, and the modern decor and finishes were clearly chosen with care—it just felt really good to be there. The game rooms were such a fun touch, each with its own theme, and the kids were obsessed! One of our favorite parts was the scavenger hunt—it was such a fun and unexpected surprise, and it gave us a memory we’ll definitely hold onto. The host was incredibly kind, polite, and respectful. Overall, it was just a great experience and a really special trip with my kids.

Andrea was extremely proactive and responsive to our questions, even reaching out ahead of time to make sure we were aware of work being done and arranged for late check-out, a huge help for our group. The local recommendations were really appreciated, and it's such a beautiful location along the water.

This location was perfect for us. We came for a car show at Maryland international raceway, which was only about 30 to 40 minutes away from this air bnb. Lots to do and good area👍🏼.

We had an amazing stay at Anthony’s place. The hosue was beautiful and inviting. Plenty of space and the decor was outstanding. We will most certainly be renting this property again. Anthony was an awesome host and was quickly responsive when I had a question. I highly recommend this home for a stay.

it was right across the street from the beach. It was a great time. Easy to walk to the beach. Kite flying was fun. Great place for your family.

Emory was a fantastic host and the house was perfect for our group. Lots of space, things to do in the community, and felt welcomed by neighbors. Emory was super responsive and accommodating to our group. Would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful home with a lot of amenities, including lake access with kayak, peddle boat and canoe. As well as a hot tub! David provided us with household instructions ahead of time and listed surrounding restaurants and grocery stores. Would love to stay again

Dani is very kind and responds almost instantly to any question! The instructions are very thorough and the home is well-kept. Definitely a 10/10 experience for someone like myself that was visiting Virginia for the very first time! Dani is the best in the game for sure!

Some girlfriends and I needed a quick getaway, but what was only a two-night trip, felt like a weeklong vacation thanks to Jen’s place. We had a group of five and we literally did not leave the house all weekend. Before checking in, I made a quick stop for some last-minute items at the local market, which was three minutes from the house. We staggered the use of the kayaks and were pleasantly surprised by all the wildlife around the island…bald eagles, great blue herons, swans, even otters in the meandering marsh area! Between the games and books provided, the kayaks and water access, the hot tub and spacious bedrooms, each of us got a perfect dose of adventure, relaxation and respite from our daily lives. Not to mention, Jen, who was extremely responsive and helpful. Never have I ever had such a dedicated host. We’ve already agreed to book this house again next year. The location, the house and the host are what make this Airbnb special and we can’t wait to come back!

Elton and Michelle’s place was absolute perfection! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The house had everything we could possibly need. The view was breathtaking; we were even lucky enough to spot four bald eagles! The Nest is both spacious and cozy, making it perfect for a group getaway. There’s plenty of room for everyone to gather for games or meals, and enough quiet nooks to unwind solo with a book or cup of coffee. The kitchen was impressively stocked with everything I needed for cooking, and more. We also enjoyed feeding the koi fish. One standout moment was Elton’s kindness and flexibility when I had a last-minute change and needed to bring my cat along — he was incredibly understanding, which made a world of difference. Absolutely lovely home and location. So much thought and care was taken into consideration when decorating this villa. Kimberly was welcoming and wonderful in every way. If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway with a water view…this is it.

We stayed at John's place in Colonial Beach, VA visiting parents in town. The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything you needed. This time of the year (winter) there is not much to do in Colonial Beach but house was walking distance to the beach and to coffee shop and restaurants. One last note - loved the beds ... super comfortable. Plan to stay there again when we are in town.

Stayed here to see a few friends who live in the Ebb Tide area. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. We were only two people but with the sun room it was clear to see there are a few options for people to spread out and not feel on top of each other. This is a nice peaceful area about 15 minutes away from downtown colonial beach and a great location for a getaway. I would stay here away without hesitation.

The house was spectacular, it has a beautiful view where the tranquility of the water, the wind and the sunset, make you forget everything. I went with my 8 friends who also enjoyed the space, it was a divine experience which I would recommend to anyone. A place to disconnect from the outside world and enjoy everything you have around you. If my friends and I go back to Maryland, I'm sure we'll choose this place again. We had the most pleasant stay at this lovely home during our Weekend Getaway at Colonial Beach. The home is beautiful, all the charming, warm and lovely decor made us feel welcomed. The home had all we needed. The area is quiet, well maintained, clean environment. The location is perfect - close to restaurants & beach. We enjoyed our experience and would stay here again. The house was amazing. Very spacious and cozy. The description of the house is very on point. There were even Christmas decorations up which added ambiance considering we traveled there for Christmas. We did have to move a few out of harms way(the little kids), but all in all the decorations added flair to the space. There wasn’t much interaction, because everything was great. But we were kept informed of the necessary information.

Thank you to John for a lovely stay at The River House! We enjoyed a gorgeous sunny sunset happy hour on the tiki bar dock and moody views of fog and mist rolling over the water all in one weekend. John’s place is clean, comfortable, and cozy. We had everything we could possibly need for a weekend of quiet, beauty, and relaxation. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved this snug, little spot on the water. Watching the sunrise over the water made for enjoyable mornings. It had a full kitchen that made cooking our meals very easy. Two seating areas in the living area gave us room to spread out. Fast wifi....I even stayed online while I was down by the water. I wasn't a huge fan of the overly curious swans, but I did find some really nice pieces of sea glass down by the water. The heat in this house was great.

So cozy, so comfortable and quiet, especially my 4.5 yo son loved the place (mostly because of the s’more, he ate a lot :) ) Unfortunately due to weather and water temperatures we couldn’t have fun with the paddle board or kayaks but still have found so much fun activities. It was also very clean.
