The space is incredibly comfortable, offering a private entrance. The view of the river is spectacular adding to the charm. Added details like coffee, snacks, and a local chocolatier’s treats made me feel at home! Hosts are wonderful! Thanks for an amazing stay!

So very peaceful. Loved watching the birds fly off an on to the neighboring pier. Fit our needs perfectly and with the well stocked kitchen we were able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal.

This place is adorable! And it's right on the water! The space is well appointed and well designed with high-end touches. The bed was comfy, too. I'd highly recommend this apartment for couples who are looking for a quiet getaway.

Holly’s place was perfect for my long term stay. She was an excellent host, very responsive and thought of the small details. Location is superb! Great restaurants nearby and beautiful water view.

What can’t I say about this beautiful place! The scenery is gorgeous! Their hospitality was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had in a while. Their binder when you come in was so handy. Sandy Feet Retreat in Colonial Beach was a great place to take my daughter and the grandkids for a 3 day Spring Break holiday. The condo was beautifully furnished and very well located on the boardwalk. My family loved having access to the beach right outside the condo and spent many hours collecting shells and sea glass. Fishing from the pier was a thrill for my grandson. I enjoyed peaceful mornings on the balcony and evening time there listening to the waves each day. Thank you Brittany for everything you do to assure a lovely stay for your guests.

The location was beautiful and the home was very cozy. Sitting on the screened porch, reading and enjoying the view of the yard and water was good for the soul. It was very quiet and we had all the amenities we needed.

We had such a wonderful stay at this home! I visited with my three young kids and there was never a dull moment—so many fun activities to do, both indoors and out. We loved having access to the kayak and canoe, which we used on both the ocean and the nearby lake. The location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing, and we had a blast fishing right off the dock. Inside, the house was cozy, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds were clean and comfy, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed—including spices and condiments, which made cooking easy. There were also tons of games to keep the kids entertained during downtime. The hosts were incredibly friendly, responsive, and proactively helpful, checking in by text and making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place and would absolutely come back!

Samantha was wonderful and the house and location is really perfect. its setting is so nice and quiet, and the house is set up perfect for a family with a great game room upstairs and tons of games. We spent thanksgiving there with our family and the house had everything you could need for cooking for sure. It was perfect. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors more. Waking up every day and going out on the dock to feed the three swans was really cool. We'll be back.

This house was great! It had everything we needed while traveling with a baby. Jacqueline was so helpful, friendly and such a pleasant person. Very caring and was available everyone I reached out to her. The house was very comfortable. Our group of 10 had no complaints. I would 100 percent recommend this house to friends and family. The only thing that could have made our stay better would have been a longer visit in the summertime. Elizabeth has very lovingly and thoughtfully restored this beautiful home. We came in for a weekend full of celebrations and get togethers for a Navy retirement. The Oyster House was very comfortable for our family to sit down to unwind before going to bed to get back at it again in the morning. There were 5 people in our party, and we had no issues with everyone being able to shower. The linens were plush and plentiful. If we have the opportunity to return to Leonardtown The Oyster House will be our place.

This was our fourth time staying at this wonderful property, and it never disappoints! The house is clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated with beautiful views of the river. There is so much for kids to do — our ten-year-old twins stayed busy all day every day with the treehouse, slide, trampoline, swimming off the dock, tree swing, crab traps, and the many board games and puzzles provided. One of the things we love most about staying here is that there’s so much to keep the kids happily entertained, giving us parents time to relax by the firepit and truly unwind. The home is thoughtfully stocked with anything you might need, and Landon is always a pleasure to work with — friendly, responsive, and communicative. We already have our summer trip booked and can't wait to return!

The River Home provided an exceptional experience. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. The house itself boasts a modern design and an intuitive layout, ensuring everything is easily accessible and well-organized. Every amenity one could wish for was available, from kitchen essentials to leisure equipment. The outdoor area was particularly impressive, deserving a perfect score of 10 out of 10. It features a netted indoor area equipped with an ice maker, surround sound system, and high-end grill and refrigerator, all of which elevate the outdoor living experience. For those interested in fishing and crabbing, this location is ideal. We enjoyed plentiful catches, adding an exciting element to our stay. Additionally, the convenience of having a grocery store just a 5-minute drive away added to the overall ease and enjoyment of our trip. This home is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and nature, making it a top choice for anyone looking to relax.
