This was a very grand, authentic Jamaican experience beginning with Jillians excellent communication skills&patience answering all questions. We came with a party of 10 ranging in ages from 6 months to 60 years old. Not even a teenager had a complaint. & when the babies were fussy everyone went above&beyond to help get their needs met as if they were their own children. I have never even visited a hotel or resort that was as clean, comfortable or accommodating as the BNB was for us. Whatever we wanted to do there were no worries or problems doing them, from partying &tourist activities to relaxing$regrouping Food was delicious, from local spots and out on the town but the BEST meals were made at home from the heart. You could taste the love put into each meal. Thank you so much Mama Janette, Jillian, and Jason for making us feel so much at home it was like being a part of your family. Our stay was a real, authenic jamaican experience thanks to Denise and her husband. A lovely couple, we felt like home! Spectacular ocean/coastline view. Everything was great, peaceful location in the hills. Jamaican breakfast highly recommended, soo fresh & delicious!

Villa Montambrin, is a beautiful place with stunning views. It's tucked away from busy Sav la Mar town so feels peaceful. Canute is a very kind and generous host, who went out of his way to help with transport and to make sure we were comfortable. Michael is a great cook making breakfast every morning for us and healthy smoothies. Michael also has a wealth of knowledge of the forest area surrounding the house. Taking a walk into the Bush with Michael was inspiring, we were impressed with his understanding and knowledge of trees, natural medicines and ways plants can be useful. A walk down to the road to catch a route taxi took us about 25 min and is a nice walk before the chaos of Sav la Mar. The house and grounds are filled with interest. Climbing the tower, the many ponds and water features and of course the artwork which was always thought provoking and at times a bit challenging - as art often is. The kitchen is basic with limited facilities, but it has what you need.

We stayed at Nadia again because of the experience we had at her place the first time. Clean, quiet and fell like home. I Will highly recommend staying here if you’re on a business trip, or you’re looking for a nice place to chill!

Camille’s villa was beautiful. Everything was top tier. My husband & I stayed there for my birthday. Everything was exquisite. The birthday celebration was lovely. Camille is very friendly & responsive. She makes sure everything is done correctly The butler K was very attentive and made sure nothing was lacking. I have nothing negative to say. I will be back as soon as I can. If you are thinking about booking this place. Just do it. You won’t be disappointed.

This is by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Mrs. Elaine, the house manager met with us, gave us the keys and gave us an amazing tour of the house. Her hospitality is out of this world. She was so kind, so nice and very attentive. On top of that the house was super clean. The house is also very spacious. My kids had a blast and they enjoyed the pool very very much. The location is great and safe location in the mountains. Perfect home away from home. Very cozy and for sure recommend anybody to stay here. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Mrs. Dorrett for allowing us to experience your home. We are very grateful.

Our stay was great!! Dale was very responsive, helpful, and a delight to meet. He was able to accommodate our early arrival and show us around the property. As well as informed us of activities, taxis, and food/restaurants. The security was great and my friends and I felt comfortable and safe.

Evan’s place was great. Home was clean and very detailed. He is also a great host whom was easy to communicate with.

The oceanfront view was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed falling asleep to the waves. Easy check in, Very friendly Service. Access to neighboring resort restaurants was a plus! Beach access was perfect. Would book again!

Jungle setting provides cool canopy and chill vibe in Jamaica’s steamy West End. Close enough to Rick’s and 7-mile to take advantage of action, far enough away to relax in a quiet setting. Most rooms are modest and sound travels easily between, but furnishings are lovely and guests are wonderful so we didn’t mind. The Great House and Sea Grape Cottage may be worth the splurge. They offer much more privacy and are absolutely gorgeous. The screened porches are to die for. The Pavillion is also beautiful. We did yoga and meditated in there every morning before breakfast. It’s be great for a yoga retreat! Sitting at the pool feels like visiting Greece. Smart design that works with nature perfectly. Most days you can climb into the ocean via ladder. Kevin is on duty to keep you safe and introduce you to fish tucked into the coral. You may want to bring snorkel gear. There’s a fab deck by the pool or you can sit at an elevated beach about 15 yards back from the cliff. Perfect retreat location for solo travelers, families, friends, or couples. Staff feels like family by day two. Guests are diverse. We made fast friends with everyone thanks to long, lazy breakfasts in the outdoor dining room. Delicious made-to-order breakfast is included, some food sourced from trees on property. Maria and Sophia are an attentive and talented cook/service team. We ordered dinner one night and shared with another couple staying in the room next to us. It was fabulous. We visited Zimbali Farm one night. It was delightful farm to table dinner with music, farm tour, and cooking show. They serve very little not grown on site. I’d recommend asking Maria to have a scooter delivered to the property. She gets the best deals. Just watch out for potholes. We cliff jumped at Ricks in the morning when it was quiet—ask Spider if he’ll dive for you. Then we scooted to Sun Beach on 7-mile—across from Best in the West. Awesomely chill spot. Incredibly friendly staff. We are seasoned international travelers and enjoy everything from rustic campsites to 5-star hotels. There was a lot we appreciated about Tingalaya’s and would definitely come back. Parting advice: Haggle for everything. Buy sunscreen at home. If you have white skin you’ll pay more—just surrender to it. Negotiate price before you get in taxi. Bring snacks and fruit—there’s a fridge you can use and it’s nice to munch and play games or sit at the pool. Enjoy!

We were grateful to Faith for her hospitality. She’s an activist for both guest and locals to experience the rich and beautiful culture of the island. We spent one night as we were just passing through on our tour of the island’s parishes. We woke up the next morning to a beautiful vegan breakfast (requested), that satisfied the palate.
