We had a great time at this location! a block from the beach, had all amenities to make great meals, lovely outdoor spaces, clean and private. Marshall was extremely helpful/responsive with a keypad issue. highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was big enough for nine of us. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean and felt like a nice beach house within walking distance to the beach and other places in town.

Love, love, love the Mermaid Escape! The house is so adorable and feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing! It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and on the way you pass a general store (which has about everything including firewood for the beach), a Mexican restaurant, and a brunch place. If you need anything else, it's just a 5 min drive away. The jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck are divine, and the two large soaking tubs put this place over the top! The owner, Lynnet, was super responsive and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel like they are at a home-away-from home while also on a vacation. Overall a great place to stay, right on the beach and beautiful views. Plenty of room in the house, both upstairs and downstairs, and the covered upstairs deck out back gives amazing views up and down the length of the beach. The host provided lots of information about the location and the area -- definitely swing by Blue Buoy for their breakfast! A couple small things to note: access to the beach is right out the backyard, but there is a drop of a few feet at the end, so folk with mobility issues may face problems. Also, the kitchen is upstairs and entrance to the house is on the downstairs level, something not readily apparent from the pictures. Neither caused a concern for us, just something to be aware of.

We really loved staying at the Airbnb. The hot tub was wonderful. Our kids having their own spaces, the movie theater, the open eating/living areas all made this home so convenient. Everything we needed was there minus one baking pan. Our gracious host went and immediately swooped a whole set for the house after we suggested adding for the next guest and left it on the covered porch. We come to the peninsula every year and would definitely stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Westport. The house fit our family’s needs well and we enjoyed that their were kids toys, a well stocked kitchen and stocked linens. The front porch was beautiful and we enjoyed our short walk to the beach. We would definitely be back to stay at Laurie and Russ’s place again.

I've stayed at quite a few places and this one is top tier for sure. No complaints. Had everything you could want to feel at home and then some. Will be staying there again next year for sure.

The cottage and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and private and love the river view while relaxing in hot tub. Hosts were very responsive, helpful and so easy to communicate. It was overall an effortless stay, exactly what is needed to unwind.

Such a lovely and relaxing spot! Enjoyed hot tub soaking while watching ducks float down the creek, reading by a crackling fire every evening, and restful sleep on the huge comfy bed :)

Lovely home and amazing host! There was tons to do just at the airbnb alone. Tons of board games, books, activities, and tons more. The beach access was amazing as well. Toby provided clear and detailed information, and provided a great list of things to do around town. Overall our stay was amazing and I would absolutely recommend planning a trip here:)

We just had a beautiful stay at Ellie’s Lake House! I surprised my husband for his birthday with a lake side getaway, and our stay was perfect! Ellie’s Lake House is a little romantic getaway, and it’s so nice that Lisa is so welcoming of pets as well. Upon arrival, the house was so clean and cute; Lisa had complimentary dog treats and blankets that our little pup Buzz appreciated, and we also discovered that Lisa had a birthday cake waiting for my husband! We couldn’t believe how thoughtful she was with these added touches! We did paddle boating on the lake, grilled and played board games, and loved the jacuzzi. The neighbors were very friendly as well. I really can’t thank Lisa enough for being such a super star host. She was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. Thank you Lisa for the amazing weekend getaway! ❤️

This place is INCREDIBLE!! We will definitely be making this cabin a family staple! Beautiful house, equipped with literally everything you could possibly need. Comfortable bedding, peaceful relaxing space. Clean very clean, smelled good! Felt very homey! Toby was great with responding! Pricing is always a little scary when you don’t know what to expect, but I promise this place is worth every penny and meets all expectations plus more in real life! Thanks for such an awesome stay, we didn’t want to leave!
