Heavenly Nest Getaway

Beautiful, cozy space with abundant natural light! We designed this getaway with relaxation and comfort in mind! An upstairs apartment in downtown Decorah. The large living room has the comfort of an electric fireplace, TV, Wi-Fi and lots of natural light. A dining room that will seat 6, a galley kitchen and the comfort of the den with a sofa sleeper that makes into a queen bed and a glider rocker. The bedroom has a TV, queen size bed and much comfort. Bathroom is a full bath. Pack and play.

Grab coffee or drinks at Impact Coffee bar and roastery just down the block, or dine at La Rana bistro right next door. If that’s not your vibe, there are many options to choose from, all within walking distance. If you prefer cooking in our spacious kitchen, a Fareway grocery store is right around the corner. All outdoor adventures are just a short drive or bike ride away.

Decorah Valley Home with a View (Apartment 1)

Welcome to the Oneota Vista, a private apartment on the second floor of our house with beautiful views of the Oneota valley. Our home is located on the Trout Run bike trail (an 11-mile paved loop which winds through Decorah). It is a mile walk to downtown Decorah, and less than 2 miles from Luther College. This cozy apartment is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring, canoeing, hiking, biking, fishing, shopping, and checking out the local breweries.

The Retreat at is a completely renovated 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment within a historic building built in 1874. The Retreat occupies the entire second floor of the brick house which was completely renovated in 2014. Located just 1 block from downtown Decorah and in walking distance to many popular restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, boutiques, and beautiful walking/biking trails. Abundant natural light, 10 ft. ceilings, and full of historic charm with modern conveniences.

It is the lower level of our beautiful log home nestled in the walnut trees. Minutes to Decorah, Waukon, or the trout stream in the Valley below.
