We stayed here 5 nights. This nicely remodeled, well-equipped and provisioned, super comfy home is in a quiet neighborhood, within easy walking distance of several restaurants and super convenient to scenic Route 35. It's 10 minutes to Winona. From the kitchen window, you can look down the street and see the Mississippi River. The couple of times I messaged the hosts, they replied within seconds. The water pressure was great, there was plenty of hot water, and every outlet and light we used worked as did the appliances and Wi-Fi. We didn't bring our dogs on this trip, but dogs are clearly welcome (e.g., treats, dishes). We would happily return, including for a longer stay. Be aware that the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are steep (the price of high ceilings!). We opted to leave our bags in the large laundry room and just take upstairs the few things we needed. At present, the garage is unavailable; we parked in the drive, which put us a couple of steps from the entrance.

We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. It was exactly as pictured and even more comfortable. We will definitely stay again. We all appreciated the treats, sheets and towels making our dog feel comfortable, too!

A Heartfelt and Healing Getaway This home truly has everything you need for a perfect stay—but what made it unforgettable was how it made us feel. As a single mom of teenage boys, life can be a lot. This peaceful retreat gave us the space to reconnect, breathe, and just be. We spent time down at the river, laughed together, and watched my sons play like they were little again—it brought tears to my eyes. The home is spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything you could possibly need. The soaking tub was a dream, and the whole place felt like a warm hug. The host was unbelievably kind, helpful, and generous—going above and beyond in every way. This stay brought healing, joy, and peace back into our hearts, and I’ll be forever grateful. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay, this is it. We can’t wait to return.

From beginning to end this was the perfect stay. Traveling with my parents to an Airbnb, can be nerve wracking, as they are quite discerning. To my delight, they couldn't have been more pleased. We got to all stay together, in a home, that felt like we were seeing a real piece of the town. The thoughtful touches, the comfortable beds, and the clear care and love they put into this place is apparent from every angle. After the airlines lost my baggage and delivered it to the Airbnb a day earlier than my check-in, Celeste went out of her way to meet the courier late at night to ensure my belongings were safe. Furthermore, after being out all day during a snowstorm, we came back home to shoveled and salted walk ways. Do not hesitate to stay here for one second. We will be back.

Quaint home along the Mississippi River that is well-stocked and the perfect place for a cozy fall gathering (especially with the pellet stove running). Instructions were clear and helpful, Andrew was quick to respond and is a great host! The loft area could be difficult for older guests or small children to access, but fun for kids of the right age.

We loved staying in this place, it was very comfortable and clean and the proximity to the lake and park was great for our dog. I would absolutely return in the future!

We loved Cindy's place for a relaxing weekend away. Beautiful house and surroundings. We also got a farm tour and saw all the newborn goats and lambs, so sweet. Thank you, Cindy!

Beautiful location and surroundings. spectacular view with lovley sunrise. very spacious. The house was amazing, but Scott and Kendra were even more amazing as a hosts. Extremely generous and kind. I had a few special request questions which they went out of their way to accommodate and didn't have to. Always appreciate a space that has well stocked extras like kitchen appliances, condiments, extra linens, bath tissue, Ziplocks....garbage bags. You know, some of the llittle things that you may tend to forget while traveling. The honor bar was by far a favorite of our group. The generosity these hosts and this home provides far exceeds any other rental we've stayed in...and we've been renting different spot for over 15 years. Kudos to you guys. And thank you for a trip to remember!

Not much better than being within view of the Mississippi River. Place is large and clean, quiet outside of the noise you can hear from the store below.

Apartment in Winona - Treetops Suite is a great getaway in a little college town. There is a spacious main room and open area kitchenette (hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, sink, mini-fridge) and the two bedrooms (one ?full-size? bed and then two twins) are cozy - not tight or cramped. The apartment was clean and quiet. They had some food (milk, eggs, bagels, oranges, PeanutButter, jam) stocked in the fridge. The step-in shower has very hot water that is not difficult to adjust to a warm setting. The apartment is located just off the Winona State University campus and the first night we stayed we walked downtown for dinner. The stairs to the place are moderately steep - as the hosts mention in the write-up. This is not an issue (and adds to the ambience) unless you have some mobility challenges. There are railings on both sides. Thanks. This would be my preferred spot to stay if I was passing through Winona again.

the apartment was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the frozen Mississippi River. working nights it was easy to be at ease and get rest. Will definitely comeback here to vacation in the future.

This space was perfect for our big group. Plenty of seating and sleeping arrangements for everyone with tons of extra towels, pillows, and bedding. The location is a quiet and private spot along the river with beautiful views. We liked that it was within walking distance from downtown Winona and loved hanging out around a fire at the end of the day. Julie went above and beyond as a host, was easy to communicate with, and flexible with our checkout time so we could spend more time enjoying each other’s company in her great space!

This was an excellent place to stay!! It was adorably decorated, well stocked, and super clean and comfy. We had a great time there and would definitely return if we go back to the area!!

Great location on Wisconsin's west coast. Logan was super responsive. The unit has lots of space. Great view of the Mississippi from the family room. We were very happy with our stay.
