We had an amazing time at this beautiful house on Smith Lake! The property was even more stunning in person, with plenty of space and the perfect blend of comfort and style. The dock was absolutely huge and offered a breathtaking view of the lake—definitely the highlight of our trip. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee or watching the sunset, it was the perfect spot to relax. The location was also fantastic—peaceful and serene, yet super convenient. We were only about 10 minutes from the nearest Dollar General and gas station, which made getting supplies or running errands so easy. It truly felt like the perfect balance of getting away from it all, while still being close enough to everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Can't wait to return!

A peaceful and quiet place for a restful get away…one of the most beautiful views on Smith Lake. Lynn was very responsive and provided all information needed prior to check-in.

Pintail Point was exactly what our family was looking for when we decided we wanted to spend some time at Smith Lake. Great set up, beautiful views, fantastic dock, spacious house and property, all while being hosted by a great host who provided basket of snacks and bottles of water, having some paper products there already to make your stay easy to get started, some shampoos and conditioners, and plenty of nice plush towels. House is well stocked in kitchen and the 2 story dock has 4 kayaks, paddles, and life preservers. The multi layered decks have gas and charcoal grills plus a fire pit gas table is such a nice touch. We all hope to visit Pintail Point again in the future. It is a place that will be a great memory for our family. Special thank you to Josh. My family's stay at White Oak was just what we all needed. Situated on a lake, the views were magical. The large windows & back porch captured the natural beauty and the tranquil surroundings. This location is perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house is near Bankhead National Forest with many scenic trails and waterfalls that are easy to hike with small kids, then you can return to the house and hop on the peddle boat or enjoy some smores by the outdoor fire pit. The house was clean and updated, & the hosts were very responsive.

Private, secluded location right on Smith Lake in protected cove. Grandson caught a 2' catfish from the dock while we were there. Beautiful view of the lake from the living room. Easy, close access to the covered dock with paved stone path. Kitchen nicely stocked with essentials. Would rent from Margaux again.

Our family spent Thanksgiving week here and it was perfect! The home and surroundings are absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views of the lake! The home was exactly as described, it was spacious and inviting and perfect for a large family. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to prepare thanksgiving dinner along with many other meals. We had an amazing time creating lasting memories. Jay and April were incredible hosts who were always quick to respond. Spending Thanksgiving at their beautiful home was truly amazing! The serene environment and cozy accommodations made it such a memorable experience!

We had the best time at the lake house! Kevin was so pleasant to work with and always very responsive. The place was even more beautiful in person than in pictures.

We enjoyed our stay at the charming cottage on Smith Lake. The location was off the beaten path, and we loved the area. It was very peaceful with beautiful plants and wildlife to see on our walks around the cottage. The cottage was very clean, organized, and well-thought out. The things I especially loved were the desk facing the window, the metal side tables with glass lamps, the roll-out shelves in the kitchen, the gas stove, all of the supplies in the kitchen, the drying rack in the laundry room, the big windows facing the lake, and the screened front porch. Kristina was very responsive and helpful at all times! She was always friendly and professional. I couldn't ask for more from a host! Thank you so much! This was definitely one of my favorite airbnbs, and we will definitely be back!

We are very familiar with Smith Lake, so we knew this was a gem. Largely flat with a gentle slope to the water, it was perfect for young kiddos, including elderly. Conveniently located to local shops that had whatever we might need. Older home, but very comfortable and clean! Enjoyed the back deck and covered breeze-way along with the beautiful massive trees, we had plenty of shade to be able to have fun outside on even the hottest of July days. Strongly considering booking again. Loved every minute of our stay.

A place to stay over the holidays can be tricky, but we had everything we needed with no stress! Hosts were forward thinking on making sure we had everything needed and detailed instructions were provided for all household amenities. Beds were clean and comfortable! Also, a fresh bar of soap might be a small detail but was much appreciated effort! Would be great to come back in the summer and use the lake! From our family to yours, thank you!

I highly recommend staying at this lake house. If you are looking for a place to relax and have all the things you need to have a wonderful time then this is the place for you. Will’s hospitality and communication was the best I’ve ever experienced with an AIRBNB stay. The pictures of the home look amazing online but when you get to the lake house it is even more beautiful.

Had a great stay on the lake! Private getaway but close to Cullman and Birmingham if you want a little city life!

Visited for the first time last weekend and we loved it so much we booked it again for the next weekend. The home and area are just beautiful. It’s so peaceful!! We would go every weekend if we could.

I like to look at water and this place was perfect! Beautiful, wide water view from every single room in the house! Several dif places outside to sit and enjoy too. It was so peaceful and calming. Would love to go again when it’s a little warmer so we could enjoy the water and all they have to offer. House was clean. Bed was very comfortable. They even provided sunscreen, beach towels, chairs on the dock and more.

This was a great location, and a beautiful home! We loved the outdoor space and the kids had the best time playing on the lily pad and kayaks! We would love to return to this home for another vacation. The communication was great between the owners and our group!

so cute! very clean and cozy. Had a good kitchen with full stove and microwave and full size refrigerator. Everything was so clean, near and tidy. front porch was great to sit and look at the water. nice repurposed pontoon deck to sit on right on the water. only thing somewhat less peaceful is the road right next to the property where people fly coming and going but you can't hear the road noise once in the cabin. still give it 10 stars for accessibility and comfort.

This was the perfect location for our group! We loved relaxing in the lake and the cabin was so cute and cozy! Nikki our host was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Really enjoyed this weekend get away and hopefully will return in the future!

If you’re thinking about booking, do it! Bluff Point Lodge is the perfect destination at Smith Lake! We had everything we needed (and more)! The view and location is 10/10! We went for a weekend away to celebrate my mom’s 70th. We had family from 2 years old to 70 and there was something for everyone. We loved the fire pit (s’mores), kayaks, games and puzzles. The accommodations are comfy… we literally cannot say enough about our weekend and the rental! I can’t imagine how fun it would be in spring or summer, but it was also the perfect fall getaway! We cannot wait to stay again!

Family of 5 traveling with teenagers. Cabin is cozy/small…what it lacked in size was filled with laughter and shenanigans. It’s been along time since my kids played and laughed together. We hiked, kayaked, started a puzzle and played cards. Perfect place to unplug!! We will be back!
