We have done our upmost to ensure you have a wonderful relaxing stay. Within walking distance to lovely bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the coastal walk. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Melsmere Lodge is a 2 bedroomed thatched cottage on the side of a private 1.5 acre lake and is surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

‘The Shippen’ is a barn conversion, once part of a small dairy farm. High beamed ceilings give a spacious, rustic feel, and the double sided log burner makes the living spaces cosy. A ‘home from home’ that many guests return to. Ideal for Golfers: Royal Birkdale and other top links courses line the Sefton coast from Crosby to Southport. Ideally located for Aintree racecourse, ‘Another Place’ at Crosby Beach. A short drive to Knowsley Safari Park and Aughton - Michelin Star capital of the North!

Pipers Ash is a quaint small hamlet surrounded by green belt, set at the highest point of Chester next to the historical millennium beacon. Perfectly situated just two miles from the beautiful historic Chester city centre. Take a short car ride or just half an hours walk. Chester Zoo is just five minutes drive away. There are many lovely country walks and of course some fabulous country pubs. The trendy suburb of Hoole is only 15 minutes walk. Here you will find bars restaurants and shops.

Relax in this calm, stylish space. Sitting beautifully in its picturesque setting, in the grounds of the Old Rectory (occupied by your hosts). A handsome 3 bedroom barn, renovated to the highest standards, a comfortable home for 5 guests and up to two well behaved dogs. Located in a peaceful rural hamlet, it's the perfect place to get away from it all, with country walks and cycles on your doorstep. Only a 20 minute drive from Chester and easily accessible for Manchester and Liverpool.

Charming Canalside Cottage

Our comfortable cottage has easy access into the heart of Chester. The garden gate opens onto the canal towpath with a ten minute stroll up to our local Cheshire Cat pub. Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.

Bellan Barn

The barn was converted in 2016 to a luxury holiday let, decorated with modern and traditional touches. The barn is spacious and comfortable, with its own patio and shared use of the garden. The barn is next to our family home. We welcome families, business guests, walkers, couples and furry friends. The barn makes an ideal touring base for our local area, is within easy reach of great pubs and restaurants, theatres, market towns, plus the beaches/castles of Wales Coast/Snowdonia/Chester.

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

Tucked down a private lane in rural Cheshire, Eden Cottage sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 – Super-king bed Bedroom 2 – Super-king or twin Bedroom 3 – Single bed Upstairs, there’s a bathroom, plus a downstairs WC. The bright living room has a wood-burning stove and TV, while the dining room leads to a modern kitchen with bifold doors to the secure garden. Outside, relax on the decked seating, fire up the BBQ, and enjoy off-road parking for two cars plus an EV charger.

The cottage is great for short stays, holidays or business. It is the perfect base to enjoy the beauty and history of our Village, for exploring the Wirral, Liverpool, Chester, North Wales.
