John has a beautiful home, lots of space, and he responds to any questions you might have promptly. I just got home from a guys annual fishing trip. I think we were most impressed with just how well EVERYTHING was arranged and supplied. We definitely loved watching deer, turkeys go through the property daily.

The house was very nice. Hot tub was a major plus! Chris was very helpful and responsive.

The is is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here, my son says it’s a “tradition”. The space was great to hangout with older kids, everyone has space yet we’re all still together. A perfect home base for exploring as well.

Has a great experience. Was a quite and private stay. Beautiful lake view so peaceful.

Our group was celebrating my sister’s bachelorette weekend, and we could not have picked a better place or host. The place was perfect for our group and Linda has thought of everything. Angela was wonderful! The home was beautiful, and spotless! She supplied many cooking utensils and lots of kitchen supplies which made meals easy! Our group of 10 stayed here comfortably and we can’t wait to come back! Angela responded promptly with any questions we had and made sure we felt welcome! The price is incredible, this home can’t be beat!

This house was incredible! There was tons of space, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We brought 4 children, and the layout of the house was perfect for naptimes. We were a 20 to 30-minute drive from skiing, restaurants, and other outings. We were there during an incredibly cold weekend, but we could imagine how fun it would be to stay there in the warmer months with the pool and outdoor area!

Kelly’s home is absolutely beautiful. The three bedrooms are all very comfortable. The setting is very peaceful. The kitchen is very well equipped. We enjoyed it thoroughly and hope to go back.

I loved the house very clean an organized. I love the fact that its in the country an you dont have to worry about your things outside etc. Great place will rent again

First off and most importantly, Benjamin was extremely communicative in the lead up to the trip. He was flexible in areas where you’d like a host to be flexible, and clear where you’d like them to be clear. At the end of the day, communication is priority #1. The house and location were fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend with our group, and everyone agreed it was exactly what we were looking for out of not only a golf weekend, but a weekend away with good buds. If the group wanted to run the same trip back next year, I don’t see why we wouldn’t book with Benjamin again.

This was such a great place to stay for a laidback get together to celebrate a birthday. We had everything that we needed in the kitchen to cook meals for each day we stayed, enough towels for 5 people for showers and to dry off after the hot tub. The bathrooms were stocked up with travel sized soap and shampoo/conditioner. A very beautiful & clean cabin experience! The trains were not a bother whatsoever even if they were frequent, we enjoyed them and didn’t find them to be a distraction or too loud. We ended up hiking at the Sugar Creek Bluff which we found with the brochures left at the cabin. The overlook was absolutely beautiful! There was plenty of room for a group of 5 and easy check in/check out process. We enjoyed the sunset and sunrise view that the stay provided and the view of the river. While the cabin was nearby to others, we felt very private and secluded. We were not bothered at all during our stay which was preferred. Also, the clue game was so much fun to complete. :)

This was a great location for privacy and views around the home and got to see some deer! We were overall pleased with most everything about the home and amenities that were available. We had a great time and were overall happy with our choice for two families to get together and it worked out well! We would definitely consider coming back should we want to do the same adventure as we all had our own space and room for connecting together as well.

Our stay was fantastic, the photos don't do the space justice though. The spaces are very open, clean, and not cluttered. Everything was in working order. The bathroom had amazing water pressure and there were tons of towels in the house. I think every bedroom had their own stack available plus those that were in the bathroom. I'm sensitive to scents and there were no air fresheners and the sheets were only lightly scented. For accessibility, there are stairs leading up to the porch without a ramp but the entire first floor was accessible with no steps or lips on the doors. The bathroom doesn't have grab bars. The kitchen has all the basics. If you come with a larger group (there were just 2 of us) maybe bring some additional cutlery along with you. Some basics have been left by past stayers so I'm not sure if it's normally kept stocked with things like olive oil, salt, pepper, etc. The only issue we had was the power went out but Amanda kept us updated. She's great!

Probably the nicest house in Harper’s Ferry. Located on a beautiful piece of property. Will book again if I make it back to NE Iowa.

We decided to spend the beginning of our retirement at our favorite place, Riverbend! We brought our labs with us and spent the week doing all of the things that we love! The location is amazing! We fall in love with the views of the river each time! The first day it snowed 5 inches but there was plenty of firewood for that gorgeous fireplace. We thought ahead and brought plenty of food but there's always extra in their cupboards. We used their lovely kitchen each day and grilled most evenings. The pups had plenty of room to roam and we hiked the property each day. They even helped us play cribbage! The Hosts are wonderful and let us know that the Northern Lights would be visible and also warned us of an impending ice storm. They are top notch Hosts and have always treated us amazingly! We also drove around the surrounding areas to visit other towns. oh, and we saw bear tracks a 30 minute walk away! We are counting down the days until we're back at Heavenly Riverbend!

Clean and easy airbnb to rent for a weekend with friends. Would have appreciated more dishwasher detergent, but not a big deal
