Had an amazing experience at Twisted Twig Yurt! We stayed in February and the snowy location and quiet surroundings were perfect. We stayed warm with the wood stove and wood provided. Clean and had everything we needed and lots of small touches that showed forethought about our experience. Easy drive into Bayfield, shopping and great lunch at Many Penny. Experienced the Chequamegon Bay ice caves and Mt Ashwabay cross country skiing what a great experience with our cozy home base at the Yurt.

It is nice and cozy with all the comforts of home. We stayed toasty with the wood burning stove. I loved having a fire right on the lake. We plan to return yurtly.

Had an excellent experience in the yurt! As promised, the hike in is short and challenging but - for two adults in good cardiovascular health with a loaded backpack each - totally manageable. The yurt was well stocked with wood, fire starting materials, and toilet paper. And the view can’t be beat. I’d definitely return again.

beautiful setting; a retreat into the woods...quiet, didn't hear or see another person the entire time. Star viewing super. Comfortable beds if not over 6 ft tall or sharing a bed *diagonal option * Recommend bringing a camping chair if you have one. First yurt experience--certainly easier than camping. I will return, especially for nordic skiing. Really cool that price includes access to trails.

This was our 2nd time at the yurt. We brought much less stuff this time because everything we might need is already there. So many thoughtful amenities for a peaceful and easy stay. Beautiful and relaxing setting on the pond.

Loved staying here! Very peaceful and stunning view. Had everything I needed, including firewood, kindling, and extra lighters. Note that the 0.8 miles to get there is very steep.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the yurts and love them. They’re located just up the highway from town, and close to howl, and the wineries. Will definitely stay again.

I had a fantastic stay! The yurt was amazing and having an outdoor space to enjoy was nice as well. The communication from Gina was great, very responsive. The directions to the site were accurate and was helpful on how the roads were laid out making finding it even easier. Gina provided quite a few suggestions on what to do and places to visit. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to do so again in the future. Thank you Gina on a relaxing stay!

Loved this stay! Went by myself, was originally a birthday present for someone, but ended up travelling solo for the weekend. It was such a great place to reset and get back in touch with the Lord, and it was just very relaxing and peaceful. Making the campfire and listening to the birds, going for a small hike on the nearby ice age trail, and spending the night warmed by the wood burning stove with beautiful string lights inside the yurt was a very memorable experience. Ashley was so kind and generous, very welcoming and lovely to speak with! If i’m in the area again i will certainly be coming back :)

Danna' yurt was an absolute dream! Close to many restaurants, hiking spots, and beautiful views, while still feeling private and secluded. The yurt was thoughtfully decorated and delightfully cozy. Will definitely be my new go-to spot anytime I'm in the Northwoods. Truly such a gem.

We had a lovely and peaceful stay at Turtle Yurts! It was quiet and comfortable. It was very relaxing to watch the trees and the stars out of the dome.

This is our 4th time at the Blue Cabin and it is as wonderful each time we visit. Place is beautiful and feels like you are home away from home. Very comfortable. David and Laurie are outstanding hosts. So accommodating and making you so welcomed. Will be back many times to come.

It was a quaint, peaceful, and beautiful get away for the weekend. During the winter it does get pretty cold even with the provided heater but just bringing some extra layers still makes it worth it. Dennis and Kathy were very responsive and Dennis helped us get our car out of the drive way when it snowed along with getting us more water quickly. Coqui, their dog, was the cutest and friendly. Places in town were closed due to weather but we went to Walmart for food and it turned out fine. We also ate at this great Mongolian grill restaurant in Wisconsin Dells and went to a place called Aquavia lumina where they had an outside light show that you walk and it was amazing definitely recommend that. Also did the magiquest which was surprisingly very fun and I think next time I would need a whole day for that. The next night we saw so many stars it was beautiful and with the outside string lights my boyfriend, now fiancee, proposed! Thank you Dennis and Kathy!

My friends and I had a great time at Driftless Yurt! Dan was very hospitable and kind! He made sure we had plenty of dry wood and drinking water. We loved the little wood stove that kept us warm when the temps dropped at night and how beautiful the view was over the ridge. The stars were magical every night. We will definitely be back for more yurt adventures. We want to be like Dan when we grow up.

The wood burning stove kept us toasty on a chilly November weekend, and the fenced in yard for our dogs was great. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here!
