Big Stone Gap is a lovely spot and Joshua’s apartment is in the heart. We loved the walk around the river. The brewery downstairs and Curklin’s were good local eateries and bars. We will be back.

We had an amazing weekend at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy. The host was friendly and responsive. The location was peaceful and close enough to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and nature spots. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a perfect weekend. We'll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our brief stay in Whitesburg. Apartment was spacious, beds were comfortable and it was a good place to relax. Only downside was that my daughter wanted some home cooking and my wife could have done with a few more pots and plates. We also missed not having a dishwasher. However, overall we loved our stay and would definitely rebook if we return next year

We loved this space. Really think its under is rated. The loft is almost an extra bedroom! There's so much space. The walk out deck is very nice! It was very clean and I'm neat freak. Loved the history that was on display. My husband is from Whitesburg and he learned somethings!

Was a fantastic experience very clean and the host was very helpful would most definitely recommend. Price is very good for the area and several fantastic locations to go to around. Got to see a chicken jockey while there was very cool.

We had a wonderful stay! Gorgeous outdoor space and pool - we practically spent all of our time outside as it was just too beautiful not to! Great location close to the town of Big Stone Gap and a short drive to High Knob. Dee was a very responsive and accommodating host! We loved the stylish space and found the house to be well appointed for all of our needs.

We came into town for a birding festival hosted by Cowan Community Center and the Tanglewood Cottage was a great place to stay. We walked on the bike path everyday, walked to festival events including the farmers market, and enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. The cottage was clean and very comfortable, and overall really easy even with our two dogs. The host was very communicative and easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again!

Very nice owner and nice stay

Clay was a great host, checking in with us shortly after our arrival to see if we needed anything. We had one issue which he resolved in a timely fashion and did everything he could to make up for our inconvenience. We will definitely return to his property when we return to the area.

We had a peaceful and quiet Christmas with family invited over for Christmas Eve dinner. We really enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of room for our two children to play inside and outside. This was our second time staying and plan to return again this upcoming year. Great location for us to our family. It really makes it easy for all of us to get together. Everything was nice and clean and Denver is a great and communicative host.

We travelled from SC for an overnight trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peggy’s place! It was just like it’s described, great location too! The porches are perfect for morning coffee. The house is well stocked with anything you could need! Peggy is a great host, her response time to my messaged was quick, she was very accommodating to us and our arrival time! Check in was a breeze! Highly recommend! We will definitely stay there again!
