My 3 daughters and I had an incredible time! The cabin was actually even more beautiful and charming than the pictures make it out to be! I loved the personal touches throughout and how Cheryl and Randy greet you when you arrive and give you a tour of the property and all the amazing amenities you can take advantage of during your stay - from the chapel, to the workout room, to the library/movie room, and more! The farm fresh breakfast on Cheryl and Randy's beautiful deck overlooking the pool, pond and nature is A MUST! My girls loved all the farm animals and two VERY friendly farm dogs! I can't wait to go back and experience the other cabins and spend more time with Cheryl and Randy hearing their amazing story!

From the moment we arrived, we felt like family. Our host welcomed us with open arms, serving the most loving homemade breakfasts. Our kids adored the sweet grandparents, making it truly a home away from home. The cabin is beyond beautiful—pictures don’t do it justice. Surely, the spirit of God fills this special place. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!

My kids (7 and 10) and I had a great stay. The baby goats arrived in perfect time for my 10 year old to love on them all day, and the restricted access to the property made it safe for her to do that without me hovering. The hot tub was very spacious, the massage chair in the workout room was way better than expected, and Doc the dog was the best trail guide. The kids said they would go back for a week even though there was no internet for their devices.

Centrally located for all of Lake Fork. Just as described. Studio space with everything in one space. Great parking for each unit. bed and Pillows were super comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The house was very nice and clean and we had great communication from our host, Lupe. We were there for a fishing trip and the property was only a few minutes from the lake and it was perfect for our vehicles with boats. Also had multiple outdoor plugs for charging. Highly recommend this place for fishermen and we will definitely use again.

It was an awesome stay here. We came for fishing on the lake. The hosts had a dock available for us to use just down the path. They were kind to make sure if we needed anything. Very clean location, and nice scenery. Would recommend for those looking to fish.

The great amenities here are barely mentioned in the listing! Fancy, sparkling bathrooms and laundry facilities, good AC, fridge and convection/microwave oven.

This spot is a slice of heaven. Peace and quiet and all the things needed to have an amazing stay. They were very responsive and wonderful folks for sure.

My husband and I had a last minute get away for a fishing trip. This place was perfect for the two of us! Nice and quaint little guest house with a great dock - Kerin was a wonderful host with great communication! Would recommend if you find yourself needing a place in the area!

We had an amazing stay! The property was quiet, cozy, and impeccably clean. It was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the pond was a fantastic bonus—complete with food for the fish and fishing gear provided! Access was super easy, and Carmen’s communication was outstanding, making the whole experience seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We would definitely stay again!

We had such a great stay at this adorable house near Lake Fork! The place was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. It was the perfect home base for fishing, exploring, or just enjoying some quiet time away. One of the sweetest surprises was finding farm-fresh eggs waiting for us in the fridge—such a thoughtful and personal touch that made us feel right at home. And to top it all off, the owner went above and beyond when our truck wouldn’t start. He came over without hesitation and helped us jump it, which we were so grateful for. You can really tell the host cares about making your stay comfortable. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with truly kind and generous hospitality. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We loved the house We came for the total eclipse and to spend time relaxing with our friends, 2 families of 4, and getting to know the area while we were there. The Lone Star Lodge was a perfect home base. The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed, including extra pillows, blankets, and towels. The kitchen was well appointed with great appliances and every dish, utensil, and pan you could need. We enjoyed cooking family meals and hanging out around the big kitchen island. We loved the screened-in porch and big rocking chairs, especially during thunderstorms. Having the lake access so close was great and we spent hours fishing. The neighbors we met were all welcoming. The satellite internet access was slow. The hosts were super responsive. They put in an ISP service call, and it improved after that. Mineola, a 25-minute drive, offered shopping and dining options. We enjoyed a hike at Mineola Nature Preserve. The kids loved the location, pond, and lake.

It is a great place to unwind from the busy life in the city. Its a peaceful location and beautiful spot on the lake. We enjoy this place every time we come to Texas.

An amazing eclipse experience was had by all. Quiet and off the beaten path.
