We were visiting family in Upper Hutt. We needed a home base for 3 people for a 16 night stay. Willem's accommodations were perfect with room to spare. Plenty of room for a large group. Easy check in and ability to come and go as we liked. We were traveling with our 81 year old father and it was perfect for us. There were 3 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 bathrooms, one with a wonderful shower and the other with a tub. Also the living spaces were very spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend Willem's home.

Amazing hosts, very clean and extremely comfortable and peaceful! We had an amazing time. Thank you for the Easter eggs and the handwritten note! It made us feel very welcomed. Also the generosity of being able to use coffee etc and the milk in the fridge when we arrived! We were touched by the generosity. Thank you!

A lovely town with a coastal and nature-filled vibe — very family-friendly. The host was wonderful and extremely helpful. The house is well-organized and comfortable for a family stay, including two bicycles available for guests to use. There are cute cafés around with a laid-back, holiday atmosphere.

My friends and I had a lovely, relaxing weekend at Natalie’s place! Natalie was super responsive and helpful, checking in with us and giving us great recommendations. This spot is super convenient to a gorgeous beach and has amazing outdoor areas for a good summer getaway.

This might have been our favorite AirBnB of our New Zealand trip. It’s just so beautifully put together with so many artistic touches. We felt so at home and wish we’d had more time to just relax there and enjoy the surroundings. You’re walking distance to the Mt Victoria lookout and reserve with beautiful walking paths, and some lord of the rings filming locations if you’re a fan. Caroline is also extremely kind and we were treated to a view of her beautiful garden on our way to the apartment. I can’t recommend this spot enough if you’re staying in the area.

Clear instructions re: parking across the road and how to access. The booklet has lots of recommendations for the area. Thank you for being dog friendly! Would stay again for sure!

The pictures do not do this place justice, the views are absolutely amazing! The place was squeaky clean and so comfortable. I stayed for 4 weeks and it had everything I needed to cook and live. The driveway and road that it is off of is very steep, so be mindful if you do not have a vehicle. But it is very doable for an active person due to the bus stop at the bottom of the hill. Awesome place, thanks so much.

I took my 84 yr old mother to Wellington for the weekend and luckily she can still manage stairs. Once we were in the apartment, we really did not want to leave it. The outlook is fantastic and the large deck is great for sitting and watching the world go by. It's location is so central to many facilities - a lot of which are walkable. The apartment is extremely comfortable and has everything you need, whether you are eating in or out. Full use of all the TV aps and wifi. Even a bottle of wine on arrival. Giles was extremely helpful and responded promptly to all enquiries - before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment, you will not be disappointed.

Ultra clean & spacious apartment with private access. Amazingly comfortable bed, great shower with nice toilettries, nice glasses & crockery. Linda had thoughtfully left breakfast provisions: eggs, bread, butter, milk, and beautiful chocolate. Access to a long, flat, sandy beach is next to the neighbours house. Thanks Linda & Shane

Check-in was seamless with keyless entry. The place was beautiful, private, and peaceful – just what we needed. Beds were incredibly comfortable and the large wardrobes were perfect for storing our things. A short 2-minute walk to Akarau Tangi Stadium, which was ideal for our trip. Close to the airport (10 mins), CBD (10-min Uber), and walking distance to supermarkets, cafes, and local shops. The washer and dryer were super handy. Host was pleasant and easy to communicate with. The apartment was lovely, the location had perfect views of Wellington city and harbour with the ferries coming and going. We had great weather too, so watching the sun set was spectacular. Just a short Uber drive to get into the city for restaurants etc. I would definitely recommend staying here and Craig was super helpful and pleasant to communicate with.

This is a beautiful loft apartment. Everything we needed was provided. The bed was very comfortable, and the roof skylight to watch the stars was an unexpected treat. Having off-street parking was convenient. Security lights helped us find the door at night. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to book it again next year.

Fabulous Airbnb Gorgeous views, so close to shops bakery and restaurants. We loved our stay and really appreciated the amazingly stocked kitchen.
