Donna’s place was just as described. I really appreciated the milk left in the fridge and the tea and coffee available. It felt cold when I first went in but after turning up the radiators it soon warmed up. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was welcome (sorry I left it on). Perfect for a short stay near my daughter and her family.

Louisa and John are excellent hosts and made me feel right at home. I was spending the week walking the Wales Coast Path and they gave me tips for where to go and what to see. I felt comfortable and at ease and would recommend this as a great central location for anyone walking the North Wales section of the path. Really close to main transport routes yet really quite and peaceful. The detailed description means it's straightforward to find. If I'm ever in need of somewhere to stay in this part of Wales, I'll be straight back.

Great stay in a rustic barn with tremendous character! Anita went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our Christmas get together. It was a challenge to cook for 12 in the small kitchen but it was very well equipped. We loved the beds & bedding - very comfortable! Would definitely stay again :)

Lovely accommodation. Clean with everything that we needed. Hot tub was great with towels and bath robes. Quiet, private garden area. Local area is pleasant and we enjoyed walks around the area and into Rhyl. Would recommend! Thank you 😁

Lovely relaxing break! Helen was a great hostess and the little touches were really thoughtful! We had a fabulous time in the hot tub stargazing and saw some shooting stars ♥️

We loved everything about this apartment. It was spotlessly clean, very modern with all the home comforts you need. There was so many extras in the apartment incase we had forgotten to bring anything. Both Steve and Paula were really helpful and friendly. The apartment is in a beautiful, quiet location. It was perfect and we will be back.

Jo was super friendly and the place was clean and tidy and we could even have a fire in the backyard. Great location if you want to go climbing at Nesscliffe, only a 10 min drive. The place does not have a kitchen (we knew it before booking), we were ok with that but best to remember that there are not a lot of places to eat in that area and the pubs either did not serve food or stopped serving at 20h, which is a bit early if you are climbing all day, you might end up having nowhere to eat! Overall, a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's annexe. It was beautifully clean, bright and airy. Such a nice gesture to leave out a few baby toys for our 11 month old too! Great breakfast options and a very good night's sleep. Sarah and Chris are the loveliest hosts and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you! x

We had a magical stay here. As soon as we arrived we felt instantly relaxed and welcome. Marcus was a super host and when we asked to use the fire pit for marshmallows he was kind enough to have it ready for our last evening. The area is not only stunning but in an ideal location to enjoy both the quiet and to explore local towns and trails. Our only regret is that we didn’t book longer. Sad to be home now but looking forward to returning again soon!

Dave & Margaret are very friendly hosts. Excellent directions and photos meant the property was easy to find. Dave was proactive on communication. Comfortable accommodation, warm and cosy on arrival. Really appreciated the Christmas tree and other seasonal decorations. Beautiful surroundings. Only there for a short visit but would happily return again. Would love to be there in the spring or summer to make use of the deck. Kitchen well equipped. Comfortable bed.

Our stay at Iris's place was a very memorable one; we had one of the best times of our lives! Iris and Mike are so kind, full of love and affection! The key highlight was the beautiful interaction with the farm animals. Thanks to Iris and Mile, we built very precious memories with horses and sheep. Iris gave us very valuable lessons on how to be in harmony with horses; really a life-changing experience! We were very lucky to have the opportunity to cuddle one of the young lambs and witness a brand new arrival during our stay! Disconnecting with modern tech turned out to be a very positive experience, as we ended up giving each other more time! The guest house and the farm are set in a really beautiful setting. The 17th-century fireplace was another treat. Really enjoyed sitting in front of the fire during the evenings, brought back childhood memories! All in all, a five-star experience! Unbelievable stay will deffo be staying again if I go back to north wales was extremely comfortable beautiful surroundings the en-suite was lovely with the robes only thing I can fault but that was due to me not asking was switching the heating off but as I said that was me not Anna

Thank you Angela and Ralph for a wonderful stay in Holt. You welcomed us so warmly, as if we were old friends. We felt very much at home and it was a great base to explore Chester and meet up with friends locally. So lovely to be able to walk to the local shop, garden centre with farm shop and restaurants too - all very helpful after a long journey. Holt is a beautiful village with interesting history. The medieval bridge is a must see!

We loved all the amenities, especially the kitchen. Loved all the books, nice and spacious, everything we could want was there. Loved all the skylights which made it airy. Well stocked in terms of crockery, cutlery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Beautiful place, my host was great and excellent communication went above and beyond to accommodate us. Found it very easily and located in a beautiful area the views were something I could never get tired of. Even though it felt very remote there are lots of places to see close by , the waterfall is definitely worth checking out!

Great location for work, very welcoming hosts.. Beautiful area for walking save the weather when I was there 😬 Comfortable, cosy offering a good nights sleep. All you could need for self catering. Hope to stay next time in the area
