I had a wonderful time staying at Masakazu-san and Junko-san's beautiful home! Their warm welcome made me feel at home immediately. The room is spacious and cozy, with a super comfortable bed. The house, designed and built by the two of them, was also an aesthetic pleasure. Their care is evident in many thoughtful gestures like providing filtered water for your tea/coffee (which I found carefully refilled the next day) and a list of neighbourhood restaurants they recommend. The home-cooked breakfast feasts, which Junko-san kindly made vegetarian for me, were so delicious, and she even made different dishes on the two days so there was a lot of amazing food to try. I had a big cycling tour planned on my first day, and when I came up for breakfast I found dextrose prepared for me, the best train connection picked out, and Masakazu-san ready to drive me to the station. Their kindness was honestly so humbling and warming - thank you, to both of you. This is AirBnB at its very best!

We loved this home. Very well equipped so we could cook and feel comfortable with lovely family mementos in the house that felt so special to be able to share. Instructions on using the heaters and appliances was great. Our host was lovely and very responsive. Slight mildew smell but we would definitely stay here again

Wir haben die Gastfreundschaft van Toshiko sehr geschätzt. Sie hat uns abgeholt vom Bahnhof und war immer bereit uns irgendwo hin zu fahren. Als Sie gemerkt hat, dass wir wegen der Töpferkultur nach Hagi gekommen sind hat sie eine Begegnung mit einem örtlichen Töpfer organisiert. Toshiko spricht gut Englisch und ist sich gewohnt Gäste zu empfangen, auch ausländische. Sie hat uns Empfehlungen gemacht wo wir hingehen konnten. Sie war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in Hagi und würden sofort wieder hingehen. Sophia und Matthijs

C’est un logement dans une maison traditionnelle japonaise. L’hôte est très sympathique et arrangeant. Il est pêcheur et propose dans son café des plats à partir de son poisson. C’est une halte parfaite et calme pour visiter Hiroshima, Miyajima et plage/randonnée.

Host was super helpful and kind even driving us to a supermarket a drive away when we didn’t bring food and he checked in with us again later in the evening. We were there in January winter but during public holidays so we got caught out with no local supermarket or restaurants open so make sure you bring enough food for dinner.
