Eclectic, artistic, amazing meals, best hosts, great location to view Mount Fuji, friendly dogs, fast rides in Morgans and smiles all day. Ikuko and Masami made us feel like family and were incredibly helpful in making our visit to Oiso and surrounding areas the best experience. Ikuko and Masami taught us a lot about Japanese culture and how to lead a peaceful and enriching life. It was an experience that we will never forget. We feel that we have made life long friends and appreciate their hospitality and kindness. Our son stayed with them a few years ago and highly recommended for us to stay with them. It was nice to get out of the busy cities in Japan and enjoy a once in a lifetime experience in the countryside with Ikuko and Masami. We hope to be back again!

Takayuki-san is very warm, welcoming and helpful. We always have a little chat when we meet. He cares about how I feel about my stay and my trip in Kofu. It feels like home during my stay. The room is big and cozy. I was staying in a tatami room. It is a special experience. There are convenience shop, supermarket, restaurants within the area. A bus stop is right outside of the house. I would definitly recommand this room and other rooms hosted by Takayuki-san.

Meine zwei Nächte bei Wakoh und ihrer Familie waren fantastisch. Der Checkin verläuft problemlos, man ist komplett autonom. Die Lage des Hauses ist auf der anderen Seite, ländlich und total ruhig, man ist aber trotzdem in 20 Minuten zu Fuß spätestens im Zentrum. Ganz tolle Tipps bekommt man von der Gastgebern. Die Familie ist sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit, die zwei Hunde sind super schön und stören überhaupt nicht. Wakoh Bereite ein sehr leckeres Frühstück zu. Sie gibt viele Ideen und hat auch Fahrservice angeboten. Die anderen Gäste waren auch sehr nett. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hierher kommen.

We loved staying at Machiko's. The room was comfortable (it gets cold in the area but there are heaters and heated blankets provided), we stayed in the room with tatami mats and futons. The bathroom is a shared one, it was clean and we didn't encounter any difficulties. We also met Shanti the resident cat, we love him! The house is near lake shoji which is absolutely gorgeous and has an incredible view of Mount Fuji on a clear day. It’s not as crowded as the other areas closer to the train station, so we didn't encounter any crowds nearby. Machiko was very friendly and helpful with her recommendations, she suggested we take a hike to a viewpoint nearby which was really nice. 100% recommend!

체크인 시간을 자유롭게 할 수 있습니다. 호스트분은 매우 친절하십니다. 일본 전통 가옥의 느낌이 잘 되어 있고 주변이 조용하고 평화로워 온전히 쉴 수 있었습니다. 깔끔하게 정리되고 깨끗한 욕실은 떠나기 싫었습니다. 다음에도 또 머무르고 싶은 곳이었습니다.

easily one of the best accommodations i’ve stayed at! wakana-san was incredibly helpful with recommendations and the food she prepared for breakfast was delicious. there is an option to have dinner here as well but only subject to availability and you would need to pay separately - it is worth the money though, very good italian food. apart from that, she borrowed me a bicycle to travel around to nearby locations and there’s also an onsen-style tub for us to use. i really appreciate the help, thank you wakana-san and everyone at otto. i’ll be back when i can!

可愛いアトムくんとレオちゃん達と一緒に近くの公園までお散歩に連れて行ってくださり、楽しかったです🐶最寄駅から宿までの行き帰りの道を、かっこよくエピソードのつまった素敵なオープンカーで送迎してくださりとても楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。とても美味しいお夕飯と朝食を作ってくださり、ありがとうございました。他のゲストの皆さんとIkukoさん、Masamiさんと過ごした時間はずっと忘れません！本当にありがとうございました♡

Truly Japanese experience! This home is surrounded by beautiful views ^^ And the couple was so friendly and offered us a lot of helpful advice about sightseeing :) We had a great trip thanks to them! If I’m ever in the area again, I will surely come visit them!!

食事も部屋も大満足でした。初回利用だったのですが、宿までのアクセスの説明であったり、到着後のコミュニケーションもとても丁寧で気持ちよかったです。 また機会があれば宿泊させていただきたいです。

We enjoyed our stay at HAOSTAY for our day trip to Mt Fuji! The hotel has breathtaking views of Mt Fuji. Check was in easy and they held our luggage until our rook was ready. We love the welcome snacks and keychain welcoming us. Room was just as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The free breakfast was lovely and Theresa rooftop terrace to take in the views of Mt Fuji while drinking your coffee. The only complaint of our stay was the downstairs cafe was offering two dinner options, since it was raining the first night we got there, we opted in for the dinner at the hotel. The food was good but when we went to go pay, the waitress says it cash only which caught us by surprise as there was no signs or we were told this was cash only. Thankfully we had some cash but there were other patrons dining at the same time who also wasn’t aware and didn’t have cash on them which led them to walk to the nearest store in the rain to take cash out.

The place as described, clean and you have for yourself 2 bedrooms next to each other. Towels and breakfast provided. The beakfast upon your request and very traditional. We stayed family of 3 and it was enough space for all. The laundry came very handy. As for location it is perfect as you can travel anywhere by car. Mt.Fuji can be seen from various locations. Definitely nice town, lakes region, and home to come back to.!

Ik had een onvergetelijk mooie tijd in deze prachtige en bijzondere omgeving en met de fijne mensen. Zowel Jun en Kimi als de gasten. Ik raad het enorm aan om het ook te gaan ervaren; de gastvrijheid, de gesprekken, het authentieke verblijf, het wandelen op de berg, de hot pot en de onsen. Het is een plek waar je helemaal tot rust kunt komen en kunt opladen. Ik was er maar 2 nachten en wil er heel graag nog eens terugkomen voor een wat langere tijd.
