I have so many words to say about this place, but first and foremost, Tohru, his wife and his parents were extremely nice! I had run into his parents while returning the bike that was offered to me during the stay, and they both said hi, and good morning to me! His wife said hi every day to me, and was so hospitable! And Tohru himself offered rides to and from the station nearby, shared his love of photography with me, AND gave me a map of everything nearby to look at. I told him I was going to Shinjuku, and that I loved matcha and he gave me a recommendation for the best matcha ice cream in Shinjuku! His family and himself are genuine, kind and excited to engage with all guests! The place itself is so clean, smells great, and the view on the balcony and in your room of Mt. Fuji is breathtaking. They even offer utensils, towels, toothbrushes/toothpaste for your stay even though I was staying in a room with a public bathroom! The bathroom was very clean too! I’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Daichi's place. The hosts were lovely and extremely helpful. The place itself has a lot of charm and is well located 😍 Make sure to use Daichi's bikes to do a tour of the lake if you can 🚲

A rural retreat, off the tourist path, but easily accessible by train from Tokyo. We were keen for some rural Japan after quite a few stops in urban centres. The house is in a quiet, unspoilt setting. You can do short walks from the house that can include views of Mount Fuji down the valley. There's other places you can pop into too, such as the Owl Cafe or the wonderful deli/shop at the petrol station up the road. The house itself has kept its rustic and traditional appearance and features, while also having very functional equipment, from Wifi to everything you'd need for cooking. Some great places to read and relax in, from the garden to by the wood burner. We did not have car which was fine - it's just 6 minutes by taxi from the station, but a car would allow you to explore further afield. Ryo the host was very helpful with answering questions rapidly and clearly. I would highly recommend!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Das Hostel war sehr sauber und gemütlich in japanischem Stil eingerichtet. Das Bad war sehr sauber und die Küche war sogar mit Tee und Kaffee sowie Geschirr für die Gäste ausgestattet. Wir konnten auch gut schlafen. Die Matratzen waren allerdings sehr durchgelegen und scheinbar etwas älter. Das könnte für Menschen mit Rückenschmerzen zum Problem werden. Uns hat das persönlich aber nicht gestört. Wir würden das AirBnb jederzeit wieder buchen.

very Worth it and nice place to staying

Très bon séjour chez Hitomi, très accueillante. Onsen très agréable pour la fin de journée. à 20 min à pied de la gare de kawaguchico, pratique si on ne veut pas attendre pour les bus ou taxi. je recommande !

Naprosto perfektní místo, které snad nejde dostatečně pochválit. Prostředí krásné, lokalita skvělá, ubytování nádherné, personál skvělý, ochotný a radostný. Opravdu není co vytknout, můžu za celou naši skupinu jen poděkovat, pochválit a doporučit všem, kteří v tomto místě hledají jedinečné ubytování. Společná tradiční večeře v tradičním oblečení byla úžasným zážitkem! Děkujeme za výjimečný zážitek a spousty dalších pohodových hostů!

We stayed for just one night and it was perfect for what we needed. And the onsen was very nice! The breakfast was very good.

Our stay at Shogo's place was wonderful. The location and house were beautiful and a very special thanks to the kind lady who checked us in and cooked us breakfast in the mornings. Green and red bus lines were very close to the house making it a convenient location and the views of Fuji were just incredible! One of the most beautiful Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Five stars!
