Hay dos buenos pubs a menos de 1,5 millas en cualquier dirección y las ciudades históricas de Beaulieu y Lymington están a 3 millas y 4,5 millas respectivamente. El pintoresco astillero histórico de Bucklers Hard, cercano, tiene un museo, un pub y un puerto deportivo. IOW también está cerca.

Una cocina americana totalmente equipada, una cama doble tentadoramente cómoda y música atemporal que suena a través de la radio Roberts. Un baño contemporáneo con ducha, completo con artículos de aseo.

Captains Retreat Cottage is a private one bedroom ( very comfy 6ft superking) cottage in the heart of Lymington. Free unlimited parking a few minutes walk away.The high street is 5 mins walk , lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and a museum. There is a very popular market on Saturdays. At the bottom of the high street is the stunning Lymington quay on the cobbles, a popular place for a coffee or grab a local boat trip. Nearby there are beautiful walks and a marina. Well behaved dogs welcome.

The Bird Hide is ideal for singles or couples (max 2 people) interested in exploring the local area with its own garden and separate access. It has a separate bathroom, as well as on outside decking area to catch the evening sun. The Bird Hide is 5 minutes walk from Freshwater Bay, even closer to footpaths to the Downs and the local village via the SSSI trail.

At the base of Rowridge Valley in the heart of the Isle of Wight countryside. You will find The Piglet, a great place to stay, relax and use as a base to explore the island. A cosy building with a sunny aspect and a private garden to the rear that overlooks the neighbouring countryside. Due to its location most of the island is accessible from here within a short drive. Explore the heritage castles & monuments, the beaches & surf, and family friendly parks throughout the island.

You are welcome to bring your dog and walk from the front door in every direction to enjoy the West Wight. Enjoy a short stroll down to Freshwater Bay, continue further all the way to the Needles in one direction. Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.
