Guest can explore Grand Island or take a sunset cruise out of Munising Bay, 5 miles west of the cabin.

This stunning single bedroom property can sleep up to 4 guests, with 1 queen bed and a memory foam sofa bed in the living space. We have two cabins available for a total of 8 guests, rent them both!. Historic woodland cabin, with access to Lake Independence (2min walk). Canoe, kayaks and rowboats available to borrow for exploring the lake. Located 2 miles before Big Bay, the cabin offers access to limitless outdoor activities. Fiber optic internet is provided. The cabin is directly across the road from the ATV/Snowmobile trails. We have been hosting guests in the local community for over 50 years, so we can always help make your U.P. adventures pleasant. Cabin is close to the road.

Fog Signal House at Sand Hills

Originally built in 1919 to house two massive fog horns, the Fog House has been transformed into a relaxing space for two. The design hearkens to its industrial past, but is full of contemporary amenities for your comfort.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

Relax with family and/or friends in an environment that provides the comforts of home during your stay in Marquette. Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. No shooting, loud off road vehicles, etc. are permitted. - Wood heat only - Outhouse toilet - Limited parking
