Perfekte Unterkunft wennn man Entspannung, Ruhe und die Natur geniessen möchten. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig und die Umgebung lädt zum Spazieren ein. Nach einem anstrengenden und erlebnisreichen Tag ist die Sauna ein erholsamer Ausklang um zur Ruhe zu finden. Wir lieben die gemütliche Hütte abseits in der Natur.

We recently stayed in Tero’s amazing house and I can honestly say, it was one of the nicest Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully decorated with lovely wooden beams. The ambiance is warm and cosy and it feels like a home away from home! The amenities are top-notch, including a fully equipped kitchen, living area and spotless bedding, and even a sauna, perfect for warming up after a day out in the snow. The location is great too! Nestled in a wooded area, it is just a short 10 min walk to Santa Clause Village, shops and restaurants. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Rovaniemi. I will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you Tero for your amazing hospitality!

Bon rapport qualité prix. Très propre. Bon emplacement (aéroport à 20 minutes / arrêt de bus à 20m / 2 supermarchés de proximité à 5 minutes en voiture) Endroit calme Nous avons adoré le sauna. Quelques petits défauts: manque quelques ustensiles, la chambre du fond reste un peu moins chaudes du reste de la maison. Nous conseillons ce logement.

Wir waren zu viert in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ilkka hat uns persönlich begrüßt. Das Haus liegt nahe der Straße und ist auch im Winter gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Sauna ist prima, die Betten bequem und das Sofa neu. Gewürze und Kaffee waren vorhanden. Ilkka hat uns Langlaufski und Schneeschuhe günstig organisiert und eine Loipe für uns gespurt, die hinter dem Haus losging. Polarlichter haben wir auch 2x gesehen. Alles war super unkompliziert. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig am Ende einer Straße, vom Wohnzimmer aus schaut man direkt auf den Fluss. Wir hatten alles dort, was wir benötigten und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Lediglich der Fernsehrempfang war so schlecht, dass es abends keine Filme zu schauen gab. Ansonsten war alles bestens! (:

Boli sme skupina učiteľov na pobyte na blízkej škole. Ubytovanie nám vyhovovalo a splňalo naše očakavánia (bolo nás 9), dostatok priestoru a pohodlie. Užili sme si aj prechádzky v okolí a pozorovanie polárnej žiary :). Ocenili sme aj jedlo ktoré bolo k dispozícii, vybavenie kuchyne a spoločný priestor na trávenie času. Henri bol komunikatívny a nápomocný hostiteľ.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dieser Unterkunft! Wunderbar ruhige Lage in schöner Umgebung, ideal um mal abzuschalten und zu entspannen. Für Unternehmungen muss man häufig eine Weile fahren, dafür ist man aber mitten in der Natur und kann nachts einfach vor die Tür gehen und Nordlichter sehen (wenn welche zu sehen sind) - das war ein sehr tolles Erlebnis! Die Sauna war auch sehr angenehm ( der Hot tub war derzeit leider gefroren und außer Betrieb). Es gibt alles was man braucht im Haus und es ist dort sehr gemütlich. Wir waren mit unserem zweijährigen Sohn dort, und auch er hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt und hatte - wie wir - viel Spaß im Schnee!

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus war einfach unvergesslich! Die Lage am Fluss war absolut atemberaubend und die Aussicht auf die Natur rundum ließ uns jeden Tag aufs Neue staunen. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war der Abend, an dem wir die Polarlichter direkt über dem Haus und dem angrenzenden Fluss sehen konnten – ein Anblick, den man wohl nur selten im Leben erlebt! Es war ein magischer Moment, den wir nie vergessen werden. Die Umgebung war unglaublich ruhig und privat – perfekt, um wirklich abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Für uns war es die perfekte Auszeit, fernab vom hektischen Alltag. Die Fahrt zur nächsten Stadt und Einkaufsmöglichkeit dauert zwar etwa eine halbe Stunde, aber das war für uns überhaupt kein Problem, denn es hat sich absolut gelohnt, in dieser idyllischen Lage zu wohnen. Ein Auto ist hier definitiv notwendig, um die Region bequem zu erkunden. Alles in allem war es eine traumhafte Woche, die wir in vollen Zügen genossen haben.

Un immense merci à Teppo pour son accueil et sa grande réactivité tout au long du séjour. Grâce à cet emplacement exceptionnel, nous avons eu la chance incroyable d’observer les aurores boréales, un moment magique que nous n’oublierons jamais. Le logement est impeccable, parfaitement propre et très confortable. L’environnement est tout simplement somptueux, un véritable havre de paix en pleine nature. Nous recommandons vivement ce séjour à tous ceux qui souhaitent vivre une expérience unique en Laponie. Encore merci Teppo !

Outstanding accommodation with Madeleine and Sandra being exceptional hosts. We couldn’t fault anything. Breakfast was perfect and brought over to us every day, with choice of foods including eggs, cereal, fresh bread, homemade jams and yoghurts. The house was very clean and tidy and the facilities were great, especially the jacuzzi and sauna. Great shower and good range of kitchen equipment to prepare meals at home. Everything was straightforward to use, including the jacuzzi, sauna and open fireplace. The stairs were steep but that didn’t affect us and added to the charm of the house. Excellent personal touches. They even baked us a Birthday cake as a surprise!. We booked this place as a base for visiting Overkallix (20mins) and doing winter activities there, which proved perfect for us. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again or recommending this place to others.

We had a lovely holiday in Sanna’s beautiful home. It was perfect for the whole family - even better than we had expected from the photos. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes drive to the town but so peaceful and right across the road from the lake. We enjoyed so many walks on the lake, ice fishing with the equipment Sanna provided, the hot tub and sauna and the youngest member of the family expended lots of energy on the bouncy castle in the basement. Sanna was so helpful with recommendations in advance. It has been a wonderful family holiday, aided by good weather, bright blue skies and great sights of the northern lights. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Thank you for a wonderful country style rustic authentic and super pleasant stay! Sandra and Madeleine were so welcoming and kind. This was far beyond a regular airbnb experience, and we couldn't thank them enough so we strongly recommend not to think twice. They brought us a wonderful breakfast every morning, took care of every little thing whole also giving us space. Thank you, we hope to be back!

Disfrutar una navidad y año nuevo en un ambiente de nieve siempre fué un deseo. Más aún cuando vivimos encerrados por el Covid mucho tiempo. Por eso nos lanzamos a la aventura, viajar desde Chile a Finlandia, y tuvimos la suerte de encontrar esta pequeña casa, super acogedora, en la cual durante 30 días disfrutamos el invierno al norte de Finlandia. Anduvimos en trineo guiado por renos, caminamos kilometros (con cuidado) sobre el hielo y nieve sobre el mar, disfrutamos de noches de luna que iluminaban todo el paisaje de noche, los amaneceres de diferentes colores, nos insertamos en la vida cotidiana y disfrutamos de las comidas locales. También tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar las auroras boreales (no podíamos regresar si no las veíamos). Los espacios de dormir no son grandes pero suficientes. La cocina me encantó, tiene todo lo que se necesita así como el estar. No puedo dejar de lado el Hot-Tub que lo disfrutamos mucho, especialmente mientras estabamos a -21°C. Superó con creces las expectativas nuestras y Satu fué más que una excelente anfitriona. Realmente es un lugar maravilloso para disfrutar en familia.

The cabin was great and Saara was very accommodating and responsive. The location was beautiful, and we were able to see the northern lights while standing on the frozen lake! The sauna was warm and cozy, and Rovaniemi was a short drive away. Thank you for hosting us, Saara!

I highly recommend it, it's a perfect holiday destination, without any disturbance, quiet and beautiful. There is a small river behind the house, although it was still frozen when I came, but I can definitely imagine that it will present a beautiful picture in summer.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und ruhig, zu Fuß ist eine Bushaltestelle erreichbar, um in die Stadt zu gelangen. Außerdem sind ein See und Wanderwege durch die Natur direkt in der Nähe. Rauna war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die eigene Sauna war super und es war alles sauber und gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war super und das Airbnb entsprach unseren Erwartungen.

Such a lovely home in the centre of Rovaniemi. The place is so welcoming and clean. Few steps to the shopping centre to get your grocery. Host is flexible with check in time. Highly recommended!!!!!

Stayed here for one night on our way up to the Arctic Circle and could not have asked for a better place to stay.

My stay at Taistos house was absolutely perfect! The accommodation was spotlessly clean and fully equipped – the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The private sauna was a highlight and provided pure relaxation. The view was breathtaking, and I was lucky enough to see stunning Northern Lights right from the accommodation. An unforgettable experience! I highly recommend Taisto and would love to come back anytime.

The place was amazing and very cosy despite the weather outside. We had have a great time. I recommend this place.

Il soggiorno da Jemina e Jupe è stato la parte più bella della nostra breve vacanza lappone (6 gg di cui 2 da Jemina). Se siete alla ricerca di un luogo fuori dalle tappe più turistiche e di una vera esperienza lappone allora questo Airbnb fa per voi …. a patto che vi facciate portare in giro per i boschi da Jupe e dalla sua motoslitta. Abbiamo avuto una giornata indimenticabile con lui, con tanto di pesca fortunata (ho pescato uno trota :-)) sul lago ghiacciato. Jupe è stato molto attento anche ai desideri dei nostri due figli a cui ha fatto guidare anche la sua motoslitta (insieme a lui) per un bel pezzo di tragitto. Ci ha intrattenuto con i suoi racconti di caccia e ci ha aiutato a risolvere un piccolo guasto con la nostra auto. Assolutamente consigliato
