Es un lugar tranquilo y muy seguro , el bell boy muy atento , a media cuadra de la famosa calle 59 , para comer , beber y una vista maravillosa del área amurallada , volvería a hospedarme ahí

Un lugar muy limpio, su arquitectura muy padre, la amabilidad de los encargados, una estacia muy tranquila y cumplió nuestras expectativas

We stayed at the Hotel Peregrino for two nights and had a wonderful time. The historic center of Mérida is within walking distance, and the ADO bus terminal is, by car/taxi, just mere minutes away. The hotel manager was very welcoming, spoke impeccable English and supported us in anything we needed. We had booked a day trip which required us to leave before the official breakfast time, the staff was very supportive and prepared sandwiches, some fruit as well as tea for us to take on our way. We would definitely recommend Jim's place to anyone traveling to Mérida.

Simon's place was more Baptiste's place in my case as Baptiste was our main contact. Baptiste is very friendly and easy to communicate with. The place itself is a little magical. When you come from the busy street to the entrance hall, the world changes into a peaceful oasis, filled with sounds of birds and fountains, with never ending alleys that lead from one courtyard to another. The architecture is light and elegant and with a sense of time passed and standing still at the same time. You feel the presence of previous generations that lived here, with a sensation that the architecture beauty will outlive us. The room was stunning with high beamed ceilings. Loved the terrace under cover. Enchanting! Only downside the place is a bit far from decent coffee options,

El hospedaje es un hotel colonial muy bonito, tiene alberca y sillas alrededor para descansar al aire libre la habitación es cómoda,limpia, esta a 4 cuadras del convento y es muy seguro caminar por sus calles aunque sea noche El restaurante del hotel 11 de 10 super recomendado Los desayunos riquísimos, buen precio y excelente atención La salsita de habanero tatemada deliciosa y la mermelada de papaya casera que hacen ahí super recomendada y el café muy bueno La habitación requiere un poco de mantenimiento en los muebles por estética de la habitación pero nada de lo normal Muy agradable estadía .

I had a wonderful stay! Batiste, the host, and other staff were so friendly and ran the place beautifully and professionally. It was private and peaceful but there were many opportunities to connect and visit with other guests. I also arrived to the surprise that my room was renovated and had a fantastic new and bigger layout which was perfect! The area felt very safe even at night, and it was very close and accessible to anywhere I wanted to visit. If not walkable, everything was a quick Uber ride away. I would absolutely recommend Villa Merida to anyone! Thanks to Batiste & co. For a lovely vacation.

Vi ankom og følte os med det samme hjemme! Da porten blev lukket blev vi mødt af en dejlig oase midt i en travl by hvor ro og charme indhyllede os. Alt i alt et dejligt ophold som varmt kan anbefales.

Our heads are still spinning with memories of this beautiful place and the people. The property is a dream, lovely, safe, peaceful and quiet. We arrived by way of the Santa Rita turnoff at Ek-Balam, avoiding Valladolid. Signage to Secreto Maya is excellent. The guys and gals were sweet and friendly -- and fluent in English when our Spanish failed. I'm not sure who was cooking but they should be Michelin rated. Kept the dining open late just for us and a French family. Best cenote for swimming and diving that we have seen in Yucatan. So few people on a weekday that it felt like a private pool. (Apparently they skim it daily to please visitors even though the leaf debris is natural.) We'll go back, hopefully to renew acquaintances with our new friends, including Wera, the wonder puppy.

Muy buena ubicación a un buen precio, nosotros llegábamos a la playa caminando como 10 minutos y hay restaurantes, cafés y rentas de bici muy cerca del lugar

Perfect for our party of 8! We booked the 3 apartments, so nice each apartment is in it’s own building. We used the main kitchen building for cooking all of our meals. Rooftop sat all 8 of us. Power went out in town, we still had all the basics like refrigerators, fans, lights, phone charging and starlink. Super close to beach and restaurants. We will be back next year for sure!

Die Unterkunft in Mérida war wirklich toll. Sehr modern, zentral, sauber und einfach zu finden. Auch unseren Mietwagen konnten wir entspannt auf der Straße stehen lassen - das Viertel ist wirklich sehr ruhig. Das Zentrum war innerhalb von ca.10 Minuten erreichbar. Für gute Restaurants muss man aber nicht unbedingt ins Zentrum, in der Nähe gibt es nämlich auch tolle Lokale. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen und würden auch wiederkommen.

excelente el Alojamiento cuando el plan es es corto,tiene una cocina grande buena para cocinar y hacer desayuno, tiene unas mesas en el patio donde puedes comer,su personal es super amable,la habitación es muy sencilla,pero por el precio no hay queja

Great location, walking distance to the centre and a cenote. unfortunately my partner had some respiratory issues while being an asthmatic. When talking to the host he was very responsive and helpful, providing us with another room. overall satisfied with the stay. would recommend

In Rio Lagartos Selmy welcomed us. She was super warm and nice to us. Even if there were small language barriers, she gave us numerous tips for the surrounding area. The room was very clean, but unfortunately the bathroom was not very modern. The location of the hotel almost perfect on the harbor. We would come here again at any time!

Muy bonito el hotel, es chiquito pero muy acogedor. Cuenta con lo que describe en la página y su ubicación es excelente. Siempre atentos por si tienes algún incoveniente o necesitas algo. Servicio 10/10 Estadia 10/10 En definitiva si regreso me volvería a hospedar.
