The place has a main building with living room, kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom, a garage and a hallway. All rooms are huge, most have air condition and a ceiling fan. The kitchen has a huge fridge and oven, a dishwasher, and a modern washing machine with dryer. Then you have a small patio with a small pool and a second building with another bedroom with bathroom attached. There is a roof terrace, but with no view. Location is excellent, you can easily walk to the Grand Plaza and city center. The contact was outstanding. When we arrived, someone who spoke excellent English waited for us and showed us everything. They were helpful whenever we had a problem. The apartment and in particular the kitchen was equipped as if it was your home. The garage fits smaller cars and comes in handy when there is not so much space on the road. But we could easily park our car outside and walk around at night without any problem. One little thing: we have stayed at cleaner places. Still: 5 stars!

So happy that we have found this place ! We stayed almost 6 weeks at this beautifull house. The 3 rooms are just nearly perfect honestly, even if nothing is. We cooked A LOT so the kitchen well equiped was a must for us ! At any moment we could rely on Manuel for anything from help to solving stuff with the house ! We were all alone for the full duration of our trip so it was very intimate and quiet. The pool and the place near the sea was our playground with the kids :) Know that there is a big contruction site next to the house. At start we were a bit scared for many reasons but mexican workers were not to loud during our stay. Keith is responsive and he made us feel like our well being was important for him !

Beautiful place to stay. A little bit off the beaten path - we were on foot and it's about half a mile to the cathedral, museums and better restaurants. This does keepthe street calm and with little street noise at night. Actually, the only noise we noticed was the doves cooing in the back yard morning and night. Good beds full and useful kitchen. Extra towels, lots of outside lounging space. We like Merida and this was the best of several houses we have stayed in here over the years. Ken was great and immediately responsive.

Thank you, Effy, for letting us use your beautiful beach house. We had tons of fun, created lots of memories, and had wonderful times. Pros: - Beautiful, very clean, quiet, three-story house. - Walking distance to the beach. It felt like we had the whole beach just for us - Access to a semi-private pool just across the patio doors - Access to bigger pools within walking distance as well - The house is well-equipped with everything you need. From cooking utensils to toiletries, bath towels, beach towels, hangers, etc - The Villas' staff (maintenance, security, restaurant) is very courteous and friendly - Effy, the host, was always there to answer questions or to solve any issues - The washer and dryer were a life-saver for our special needs family. And the waterproof bed protectors were great as well - Water, power, and propane gas were always on, including hot water. No outages whatsoever - Plenty of closet space in each room, and plenty of pantry space in the kitchen. There were 10 of us and we had a lot of groceries Cons: - The villa is listed for 10 people, but there is only room for 9. Our 10th guest had to use an inflatable mattress. Not a big deal for us but this is something to be aware of if you are traveling with a large family - Only the three bedrooms on the second floor have air conditioners. Effy tried really hard to have a portable A/C installed in the main bedroom but it was not technically possible. All rooms have fans and if you are not a very picky person you can sleep with just that. The nights are not hot because of the sea breeze.

If you are planning on going to Mérida, this house is a must! It is a very open floor plan and my family of 6 had so much space (everyone had their own bed), and the place is so big you almost can’t find anyone in it. It is a large open area designed around the main garden and pool areas with so many thoughtful touches that it is astounded me how much artwork, details, and amenities it had. Very high-end with amazing culture! The cleaning lady came every day and she was such a sweet woman, and the maintenance/security man was beyond helpful. We loved visiting with them every day and after a week, it was almost hard to say goodbye! The house is located in a perfect location, right by Paseo de Montejo and the plazas, and had amazing restaurants and coffee places literally steps away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and absolutely loved our time in Merida and our experience. Thank you so much for everything.

Excelente atención desde la reservación y en la llegada. La ubicación está estupenda, cerca del parque, supermercado, Oxxo y demás. Lo único que me pareció un tanto incómodo es poner la cadena cada vez que salía y entraba para estacionar :( fuera de eso estuvo todo perfecto!!!

La casa es muy acogedora y fresca. Las hamacas estaban súper limpias y cuidadas. No me esperaba que hubiera una Alexa. Muy cómodo el portón eléctrico. Fui en época de mucho calor, por lo que los aires acondicionados fueron una maravilla. Toda la cocina súper equipada.

One of the nicest airbnbs we have stayed at in over 5 years. Fully equipped with high end accessories really helped make our stay in Merida a great one.

This house truly has a magical soul. You are right on the water. The waves, the breeze, the birds, the stars all inhabit the house. We came here to relax and to see birds. We swam with beautiful fish and saw two octopus from our own little water garden. At night we slept with the doors open and had a view of the Big Dipper. We loved taking trips to the beach towns along the coast. The area is safe and friendly and easy to explore. The house is so beautifully designed and decorated. Everything is pristine, clean and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking. Everything is open and airy. Aida and her husband met us at the house. They left us supplies and gave us wonderful recommendations for places to eat and shop. Don’t hesitate to book this very special home. It is centrally located to many places to explore but we found ourselves wanting to have a lot of “do nothing” days because of how comfortable the house is.

Fue una estancia increíble, muy buena atención y el lugar muy bonito, siempre estuvieron al pendiente de nosotros eh instrucciones claras y completas , nos sentimos como en casa. Sin duda lo recomiendo mucho.

El alojamiento de Gina es tal cuál en las fotos, es cómodo, tiene privacidad y cumple con todas las amenidades descritas, mis amigos y yo nos sentimos como en casa y disfrutamos mucho la alberca. La zona es muy tranquila, hay tienditas cerca. Gina nos dió instrucciones claras y siempre respondió rápido. Sin duda volveríamos a hospedarnos en su alojamiento, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

j avoue qu'en arrivant dans ce quartier on a eu une mauvaise impression.. alentours assez délabré mais au final très sécure ! la route est très passante mais la 1ère pièce fait office d'absortion du bruit. facile de se garer face à la maison. logement typique ancienne hacienda mexicaine avec haut plafond superbe ! spacieuse et propre ! la literie est top. il y a tout le nécessaire et même plus : très appréciable d avoir 1 gros bidon d'eau potable et un blender pour faire de délicieux jus de fruits frais. à notre arrivée la pompe de la piscine ne fonctionnait pas mais le proprietaire aux petits soins pour nous a fait intervenir une personne très rapidement. sur la plaza de la independencia se trouve l'office du tourisme qui propose 2 visites gratuites de Mérida. ne rater pas aussi le bus gua gua dont le depart se trouve au parque de santa lucia (en fait une petite place).. on a beaucoup apprécié la ville de Mérida, bouillonnante.. la maison nous a offert de beaux moments de sérénité

Eduardo es muy atento, y siempre está al pendiente de las necesidades que se tienen como huésped, el alojamiento está en excelente estado.

Nuestra familia pasó una maravillosa semana en Casa Kiik, desde que abrimos la puerta, nos maravilló con su bello diseño de interiores y buen gusto. Cada rincón de la casa es placentero a la vista y tan cómoda para relajarse, que decir de la alberca, una delicia con el clima Meridience. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue excelente. Sin duda volveremos a hospedarnos aquí, porque faltan los días para conocer todo lo hermoso del Estado.

Perfect location just off of Paseo Montejo, yet worlds away and so peaceful and quiet. It's like a little refuge right in the heart of the action. The pictures don't do justice as to how large and well furnished this apartment actually is. Air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout kept us comfortable during the heat of the day. We felt very secure in the neighborhood and especially with the security of the apartment itself. The kitchen is fully stocked and you even have access to a few cleaning supplies to keep the counters wiped off. We will definitely stay with Abraham the next time we are in Merida!
