Ian's place is in a great location downtown. Very easy to walk to local restaurants and cafes, as well as enjoying the trails along the river. The underground parking is definitely a plus for winter months, as well as the large patio during the summer time!

C'était notre deuxième visite et c'était exactement comme nous l'espérions. Tranquille, propre et quelques petites attentions à notre égard. C'était parfait!

Had a fantastic peaceful stay in a cozy well appointed cabin. The cabin is lovely and clean and while technically off-grid it felt very luxurious with hot water and heat and a great kitchen set up. April Lynn and Dale have included really thoughtful touches, like flipflops, slippers, fire starter, snow-shoes, great hiking guides, puzzles and games. They included a cooler in case the small fridge wasn't enough- there's a fire pit, and a bbq. We spent a cozy, quiet few days walking on the frozen lake, spotting wildlife and soaking up the winter sunshine. It had all of the kitchen amenities you need to make meals and we enjoyed drinking coffee and reading books next to the wood stove.

I could not have picked a better place to stay for my last two night in Yukon. From the absolutely delicious morning treats to the delightful quirky artsy discoveries around the property to the serenity of the cabin with the most spectacular views of the mountains, I didn’t want to leave. Thank you both so much. You are wonderful hosts.

Our stay at the Hobo Place was nothing short of magical. Nestled by the lake with breathtaking mountain views, it offered the perfect escape into nature. The scenery alone would have made the trip worthwhile, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was Peter’s incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, Peter made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed. But the real highlight? Basil, his friendly and lovable dog, who decided to sleep in our room on the first night. It was such a sweet and unexpected welcome, adding to the cozy and relaxed vibe of the place. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views, warm hospitality, and the best four-legged companion, the Hobo Place is a must-visit. We can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our glamping trip. The location is gorgeous; you’re literally camping on the ski mountain! The tents were as described. I would recommend all guests read the description fully before booking, so you are prepared! Even in August, the campsite can be very cold (you are sleeping on a mountain, after all!) I would plan ahead with food in hand and an arrival time well before sunset. It may be worth it to pay a little extra for a ride up the mountain if you have little ones with you or a lot of stuff. You can also pay extra for charcuterie, wine, etc. definitely read all they have to offer! Also, layer and bring lots of warm gear. It was in the 40s at night, and my group was underdressed (our own fault, not the host’s), but we did enjoy a fire outside of the tent and at the base area. All in all, I would definitely recommend this glampsite and hope to stay there again in the future.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! This cabin is truly a work of art – like something straight out of a movie. The craftsmanship and warmth made it feel so cosy, and the stunning surroundings were the perfect escape. We were incredibly lucky to witness an unforgettable aurora display in the middle of the night, making our short two-day stay even more special. A beautiful spot for a change of pace and the best place to take in breathtaking scenery. Highly recommend!

The cabin was perfect on our cross country road trip! Just what we needed. And the location is absolutely beautiful.

Un séjour parfait dans l'appartement de Hung, cela correspondait exactement à ce que nous recherchions, tranquillité, pratique, bien situé, facile d'accès, le parking haut et couvert à 90% était aussi très pratique pour notre Van surtout en hiver. Hung est très sympathique. Très bonne adresse ici, si on revient dans la région, on choisira ce logement à nouveau. Merci Hung
