Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

This converted stable block is situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park making it an ideal base from which to explore the wonderful surroundings. A stone's throw from Zip World and a short walk from the Glyderau, Y Stabl is also an ideal base for those with an adventurous spirit. The mountain scrambles of the Ogwen Valley, rock climbs of the Llanberis Pass, the mountain bike trails of the Gwydir Forest and the beaches of Anglesey and the Llyn are all easily accessible by short drives.

We're a cosy bolthole, perfect for unwinding in this home from home.

Situated within the grounds of Bryn Llys, it offers a tranquil setting with ten acres of gardens, lake and woodland to explore and relax in. Close to the border of Snowdonia National park, the cottage is a 10 min walk to local amenities in the village of Bethesda. Hafan is a short walk from Zip World and is well located to explore all that the beautiful surrounding area has to offer.

Welcome to converted chalet located at the bottom of our garden at the foot of the Carneddau Mountain Range in Bethesda. It contains a small kitchen with all basic utensils, pots, pans, kettle, toaster and electric hobs. We also supply tea, coffee and fresh milk + towels. It is a stones throw away from the famous 'Zipworld' (15 min walk) as well as the Glyderau mountain range(10 / 25 min ), and a short drive from Snowdon (15 min). Perfect location to experience Snowdonia.
