Great place to stay with very friendly hosts who are happy to spend time with guests and show the kids the farm animals, which was a great highlight for them.

We had a brilliant stay in Porepunkah and would not hesitate to stay again. The log cabin was set in a beautiful, quaint location and it made for a very relaxing week. Claudia was great with helping us check in and showing us around with the property being walking distance to the town of Porepunkah. Thanks for having us!

We had the pleasure of staying at Orchard Cottage just after Easter 2025. The weather was perfect and so was our temporary home and beautiful surrounding countryside. Jamie and Linda had provided eggs, bacon and bread for our first breakfast and the kitchen was stocked with butter, coffee, tea cereal and a carafe of port on the table too. The beds were firm and comfortable with deep plush doonas – plenty of extra blankets in the cupboard if required – but with aircon and the wood burner no need. The fire was already made up and ready to go. We really enjoyed playing in the backgarden and visiting the chickens. Took a few dips in the pool - very chilly (it was late April). Lots to do in Beechworth (but was very busy being Easter), Yackandandah was a bit more chilled. Would love to come back

Beautiful place to stop to break up a long drive. The sunset was lovely. We would visit again.

Felicity and Lew's place was such a great getaway for a few nights. The house inside was just amazing set up. The outside we enjoyed the company of the cows, horses, beautiful King parrots and of course the possums at night. Just had the best time. You must also visit the Witches Garden which Felicity and Lew have done an amazing job of the garden. Felicity and Lew were also very welcoming. would highly recommend this farm stay. Although there are other cottages on the property, our place felt so private and secluded. It really was one of the most beautiful Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in. It’s such a lovely peaceful outlook into the bush from the patio and we loved exploring the property. Our dog also made quick friends with the lovely resident kelpie. Everything you would ever want has been thought of in this Airbnb. Quality linen & bedding, fully equipped kitchen and all of the cosy touch points that make the difference. Gr8 location to the main Street and house has been done up nicely since we last stayed there! Backyard and undercover outside area with large table were excellent. Jen was friendly, accommodating and helpful, responding to my Q promptly. Out of host control, but possum terrorised dog at night and people in apartment down the road had loud, unsettling arguments on a few occasions. Otherwise, Jen, the house and location were all wonderful.

Terry and Row’s place was great! It was very clean and felt very homey and welcoming. They were very communicative and helpful and allowed us to check in early which was very lovely. Would happily stay here again.

Nicole’s property is easy to find, well presented and with all essentials provided. Kids had great time with the toys. Comms were really good, she kept us informed at all times. We stayed at her property for one night on our return to Melbourne. Highly recommended her place! Will definitely book next time when visiting Albury. Thank you for hosting us.

The ideal long weekend retreat away from the city and crowds. Barb was so warm and welcoming and had a fresh loaf of bread, eggs, fruit, coffee and snacks ready for us! Everything is thought of, with the fully equipped kitchenette and fridge, BBQ, board games and a cosy fireplace - couldn't think of anything else we needed. It was Easter weekend so the surrounding areas were busy, but it was so nice to come back "home" to Barb's place, just keep in mind it is about a 35-40min drive from Bright, Beechworth etc. But that's what makes it special, it's so quiet (apart from the farm noises) and the stars were incredible. Her family were visiting and gave us privacy but also were lovely and shared extra eggs from their Easter egg hunt and opening the gates for us. Definitely worth the stay and would highly recommend Barb's farm stay place!

We loved our stay at Cortes cottage. It was a lovely space for 2 adults, 2 kids and small dog. The kids loved the open farm space and playground. The walk to the river was lovely. Very convenient drive to Beechworth and Bright.

Our stay at Moyhu was lovely, Juliana is an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself is beautiful, comfy bed, gorgeous styling and we fell in love with the feature tiles! It was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our pup was welcomed as much as we were, and she loved watching (and barking at!) the neighbouring cows. We highly recommend staying here with Jules, and we'll definitely stay again!

This was our second stay at Charmaine’s place and it lived up to our expectations once again. Walking distance into town and to the river. The house and outdoor areas are very clean and tidy and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a great time, thanks

Secluded, private. Literally in the middle of a huge farm and surrounded by pastures and sheep as far as the eye can see. Beautiful sunset/sunrise and star gazing. Cottage is extremely rustic, so city dwellers might not appreciate it. We are in the country. There are bugs that occasionally make their way inside. There is wildlife outside. There is no TV as advertised. There are no door locks which can feel strange but you are protected by lots of open farmland and you have to drive past the main property to get to the Cottage. It is secure. Hot showers, functional kitchen, soft bed, electricity… nothing to do but put up your feet, stare off at nature and RELAX. It was warm and draft-free inside. You have your own (farm) fenced off huge yard for your dog to enjoy. Small thin dogs may make it through the gaps though. My dog loved running around the yard. Our host was extremely lovely and great at replies. Would go again :)

We stayed at Emma's place on our way home from a trip - as Chiltern appealed for its historic character. It suited us perfectly as a couple needing one night only and being able to cook in a very well-equipped full kitchen was great, as we were there on a Tuesday when nothing was open for meals in the evening. Emma's large studio-type accomodation (bedroom/sitting room/kitchen sharing one space - with a separate bathroom) was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It was nice too, that Emma came to the fence to say hello when we were having a drink outside, that evening. There is a childcare centre next door, but when the children had all gone home, there was complete peace.

I had the loveliest and most relaxing stay at Jamie + Peter’s place. Sadly, I was very unwell during my stay, however, it is the most relaxing place to unwind, rest and recover. Everything is so clean, beautifully curated, and very cozy - the bed is super comfy. The eggs from their hen and the bread/milk they left for me was life saving as it meant I didn’t have to go out if I didn’t want to! Jamie was so lovely and making sure I was okay and if I needed anything, and is such a lovely human - which I didn’t get to see Peter much but I’m sure he’s the same. Djinni, their dog, is also gorgeous and so sweet. While my stay was short, it’s definitely one of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at in terms of the beauty of the property and also the care of the hosts. I’ll be back again for sure ☺️

We had a truly wonderful one-night stay at this peaceful farm cottage. Even though it was a short visit, it gave us the perfect break to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially loved spending the evening by the outdoor firepit, it was such a beautiful spot to relax, and we were lucky to share it with Max, the sweetest dog. He’s such a gentle soul and he made us smile every time we saw him. We also enjoyed a lovely walk through the paddocks and got to meet some of the animals. Tab, the host, has clearly put a lot of care into creating a space that feels both comfortable and inviting. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it really made the cottage feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, heartwarming escape even just for a night!

Such a lovely, relaxing place to spend a weekend catching up with friends! The house was beautiful with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.

Exactly as described, pictures are accurate, everything you’ll need for a great stay. Excellent layout for a couple of families, room & space for everybody. Super clean & tidy, great boat access & minutes walk from the boat ramp in a lovely neighbourhood. Curtis & Kathleen very easy to deal with & respond promptly to any questions. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for the weekend while attending a wedding nearby. It was perfect for a few couples to stay together, lots of space, great amenities and the pool was lovely.

Christine is a lovely, helpful host and her place is centrally located just a short walk from Rutherglen's main strip. She genuinely cares about her guests (particularly the four-legged ones) and is always available to answer any questions or have a chat! The home-cooked brekky was a particularly nice part of the stay.

My partner and I stayed at Phillipa's place with our bridal party for our wedding in Milawa. The house and property was stunning. So many beautiful old trees and a really incredible house. We had such a great weekend and loved being able to wind down in the pool with our friends, was the perfect venue. Also having 4 queen size beds was great - made sure everyone was well rested! We were also lucky enough to be able to get some of our weddings photos at the property which will be a great memory for us all!
