We booked Kates place to celebrate our parents 70th birthday and it did not disappoint! You absolutely get what you pay for at this stunning property. It is spacious, peaceful, has everything you could need for a blissful stay and is impeccably clean. A nice walk into town but far enough away that you don’t notice the school holiday crowds. Incredible views of the mountains, lush grounds around the property and styled to perfection. We would highly recommend Kates home to future guests. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this stunning property! The beautiful home boasts breathtaking hill views, and its cleanliness and amenities exceeded our expectations. Everything was provided to make our stay truly feel like home. The whole family had a fantastic time lounging by the expansive pool on warm summer days. The outdoor shower and BBQ area were additional highlights, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. The spacious house features generously sized bedrooms and exceptionally comfortable beds, ensuring a restful stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the high country. Lastly, our host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Five stars, without a doubt!

Lovely house, with stunning views. The house was very clean and spacious with everything you could need.

Had a fantastic week at Chris’s place. The house is great and exactly like it looks in the pictures. Bedrooms are big and all have Aircon. Living area has a huge TV and the kitchen is very modern. Garden is massive and the pool and water slide are next level! Our kids basically lived in the pool and loved the slide. If you are heading to Bright I highly, highly recommend Chris’s place - it’s only 2 mins drive from the town center. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful house. Close to the river. Games room was a highlight.

We stayed here with three families and had such a wonderful time. The sauna and pool were well used by all. The living spaces had more than enough room for 12 to for comfortably. There were spaces for kids and adults to be doing their own things. The aspect and views are spectacular!

Carol’s property is beautiful with lovely mountain views. The house is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The backyard is like a resort. We loved the pool, outdoor undercover area and large grass area. The in ground trampoline was also a hit. The property is a short walk to the cafe, pub, bike path and river.

We had a great weekend with the family in mitta mitta, the house had toys for the kids and lots of space to relax. The out door area was perfect for hanging out the back

We loved staying here with our kids! It was close to town and the river. It had everything we needed and the kids loved the big yard. We would stay here again.

I stayed at the vision splendid for my 50th bday with family and friends! It was perfect for such a large gathering. We had everything I needed. And the view! Wow! It didn’t matter how many times I looked at it I didn’t get sick of it. And Maurice was an amazing host. So accommodating and very responsive to my questions!! I didn’t want to leave!! Highly recommend!

Glen and Tannille’s property ticks all the boxes. The house is even better than the photos, large enough, satifyingly clean and at the same time brings a homey feel. This space is uncluttered with well-thought layout. All you need is available to use and *actually works. So many Airbnb’s add amenities which you end up not enjoying becuase they literally do not work. Both bedrooms boast smart and modern designs, the kitchen is fully equipped and the front porch was our favourite hang out spot to have coffee overlooking beautiful greens and autumn foliage. Both hosts were easy to communicate with, friendly and accommodating of requests. Highly recommend and we will surely be back. BONUS: they also have another property next door available for rent if you come in bigger groups!

Fabulous home and location for a family getaway. Bedrooms were a good size for adults. Kitchen had everything you could possibly want. Great open plan kitchen and living space was perfect with plenty of space to move around. The space outside was private and again great for entertaining and enjoying with family or friends - lots of car parking. Stanley was easy to walk around, and there were plenty of nearby walking tracks to walk off the extra calories. If you are looking to get away and wind down in the great outdoors with friends or family, this is the place. You wouldn't have to leave - but if you needed the big city - Beechworth is only 9kms away. An easy drive. Highly recommended.

Mountin hut is a reaaly nice place to stay. From outside it looks very small, but inside is spacious for everything. Loved the ensuits. They are realky spacious and the cleverly placed the washing machine and drier.

Beautiful remote place where you can enjoy fishing, hiking, cycling or just through a picnic rug on the grass near the river and relax on it. The house has a character and practically everything you might need We stayed in a group of 4 families and thoroughly loved the beauty of the nature around and closeness to two lakes and walking tracks.

This is a great place, perfect for a group of friend families. The host is very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay!

8 of us stayed during 3 days (end of April). Beautiful house and surroundings with beautiful autumn trees. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Quiet neighbourhood. 20 mins from Bright.

Great place to stay

Great accommodation located close to the town centre. David and his team were very helpful.

Bald Hills House is the ideal place for a peaceful weekend away from it all. And yet it is close enough to a great pub at Stanley, fine dining in Beechworth, and a handful of choice wineries to the west of Beechworth. We started with lunch at the Stanley pub, visited Serengale Winery on Saturday morning, and dined in Beechworth on Saturday night. Mainly though we relaxed in Ian's house, read, swam in the pristine pool, walked, enjoyed the bush setting from the deck, had the odd beverage or two and reminded ourselves of the old days. Internet connection was great, and living off the grid was a new experience for all of us, and trouble-free.

A really great place and wonderful host. The house is beautiful and well appointed with everything we could need. It is well zoned and worked well for our family ( teenage kids) and dog. We were blessed with great weather in April and we made the most of the great backyard, pool and trampoline. We also enjoyed the sauna ( with a little TV as a nice touch.- The sauna would be amazing in colder weather). Our stay was very peaceful and we really enjoyed the great surroundings. The view out the back was really nice and it was lovely to have so much space. It is often the little things that you appreciate when you are on holiday ( and there were many at this house) but one that was a real winner for my wife was the blackout blinds in the spacious Master ensuring we could relax and not wake as the sun rose. It shows Stacy has thought of everything. Stacy was really helpful and responsive and the local knowledge Stacy provided was very helpful . We would definitely stay again.
