We had an absolutely perfect stay at the Keeper's Cottage. The property was peaceful and serene, surrounded by stunning natural beauty that made for an incredibly relaxing getaway. The interior was cozy and well-maintained, providing all the comforts we needed for our stay. One of the highlights was the proximity to charming restaurants and cafes, making it easy to enjoy delicious meals without venturing far. The quiet atmosphere and scenic views were exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with access to nature and great local dining. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely loved staying here! Emelia and Karen were both very friendly and helpful when it came to checking in and out, the house itself was exactly what we were expecting too. Very inviting, just the right size, and we appreciated the little details like the complimentary port wine as well :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at Pigeon Bark farm in the cottage. The place was cosy and specious with comfy beds and couch, spotlessly clean with old world charm. The kitchen had all we needed and was well stocked, the coffee and breakfast provisions and snacks were good. It was completely calm and peaceful but lovely to see the animals around, especially the beautiful friendly peacocks who can be hand fed. Jacqui was an excellent host and living nearby was an excellent help with anything we needed and quickly responded to our needs. She even went the second mile by offering us drop off and pick up from our very close wedding venue. A lovely friendly person.

A beautiful haven nestled in the stunning greenery. My family and I enjoyed a gorgeous couple of nights here in the lead up to my wedding, it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The interior was jaw dropping, attention to detail was not overlooked here. Everything was spotless and the hosts were the best I’ve encountered so far. Can’t wait to stay here again, just to feel like I’ve gotten away from the madness of the city.

I have stayed at Thackeray many times. it's the perfect location on the beach.. great bike rides... easy to park... close to everything and Alyce is continually upgrading equipment in her home so everything works! highly recommended. a unique place with beautiful character.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this charming cottage. The property was exactly as described in the listing—adorable. The location was perfect! I loved walking to the city and exploring the local markets without the hassle of parking. Everything I needed was just a few minutes away, which made my stay so convenient and enjoyable. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sunny Blue Cottage for two months. The house was exactly as described - beautiful, with a cozy fireplace that made chilly evenings so enjoyable. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, the bedroom comfortable with cozy linen and extra fans and ac for warmer days. Overall, everything you could think of for a long-term stay was available and made our stay most convenient. The neighborhood was incredibly peaceful, and we felt welcomed by the friendly neighbors. Plus, having the South Melbourne just a short walk away is perfect for little lunch breaks or weekend shopping. But what truly made our stay exceptional were the hosts. They were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! The cottage is absolutely beautiful, spacious and immaculately clean. We were greeted with a delicious charcuterie board, fridge stocked, loads of breakfast options, and delicious homemade treats! Charmaine is a wonderful host, and I could not recommend her and Little violet cottage highly enough! It’s only a short walk into town, and about 30 min walk to Micawber pub which we enjoyed. Thank you for having us Charmaine, we will be back 😊

David’s place was beyond spectacular! He was gracious enough to allow me to use this venue as the getting ready space for myself and my bridesmaids. And wow o wow did this place live up to the dreams I had for my special day! It was beautiful, clean, and made my whole bridal party feel at home. I will definitely be booking this home again in the future 💛
