Pine Beach Guest House in the Heart of Balnarring

The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

This charming barn style house sits between vines and olive groves with stunning views of the nearby hills and dam. The house features a downstairs open plan living and dining area with kitchen and laundry/mud room. Upstairs are two airy bedrooms with farm views (master with doors to balcony) and a bathroom. Corvers Rest is a minimalist beach shack located on the clifftops overlooking Bass Strait. A place to rest and detach amongst wild natural surrounds. The shack provides the essence of an Australian beach shack with views across the ocean and hinterland. It trims back everything else. A string of ocean beaches nestled between coastal cliffs are within a short walk. Outdoor showers, fire pit and BBQ are all present.

Blending modern, French & farmhouse influences, our tucked-away slice of heaven captures the best of the wine region. With remnant forest surrounds, a solar-heated pool & proximity to Merricks beach (6 mins), everything is here to help you unwind. A barbecue, pizza oven, outdoor sink & two deck seating areas will draw you outside to enjoy balmy evenings. Nearby is Merricks Store and plenty of great wineries.

The Sweet Escape Balnarring

Nestled behind a large Oak tree and lush gardens, this charming two bedroom cottage is located on the Mornington Peninsula and is within walking distance to Balnarring Beach and shops. It has a country style kitchen with Coonara fireplace, two living areas and is ideally suited to four people, although it can accommodate up to five people This is a cat and dog friendly property.
