К тому же, вы можете заказать завтрак или ужин прямо здесь, заранее, у хозяйки. И он будет вкусным и очень доступным. Так же можно заказать поездку по окрестностям, на тук-туке, по разумной цене. Обязательно сделайте это. В общем сняв этот номер, вы получите абсолютно всё что вам нужно.

La camera corrisponde alle foto e alla descrizione. Nimalka é stata un’ottima padrona di casa, sempre disponibile e gentile. Ogni giorno ci ha preparato una colazione deliziosa e sempre diversa. L’appartamento non è nel paese ma ad 1km, per noi non è stato un problema perché si arriva davvero facilmente in 10 minuti a piedi o in 2 minuti con il tuk tuk, in compenso dalla veranda della stanza c’è una vista meravigliosa su Ella Rock che ripaga di tutto. C’è silenzio, si sentono solo i suoni della natura e lo abbiamo trovato un posto davvero rilassante. Consigliato!

I had a great time at Namal's place and would definitely come back here when visiting Ella again. I can recommend it wholeheartedly, Namal is very friendly and welcoming, the room has many amenities and decoration is done with great care. Also, the view is fantastic. The typical Sri Lanka breakfast tastes good and is a well-sized portion for 2$. Ask Namal for recommendations for sightseeing and walk along the railroad tracks for easy access to the city :)

What an amazing place, in a beautiful area of the island. From the moment we drew up to the gates of the Dutch House, we were greeted by the most gorgeous Dutch villa, and the all-pervasive smile of Kannan, who looked after us like members of the family during our stay. The house sits high on the hills outside of Bandarawela, up a short, but very steep road, which gives it a great vantage point over the surrounding lush hills and mountains. It’s a great climate so a gin and tonic on the veranda was a joy. We made use of the pool, and although not heated, you soon get used to it. The surrounding gardens are very well kept and have a plethora of birds and other wildlife. The food prepared by the on site chef was wonderful, as was the attentive service from Kannan. We also had the best sleep we've had during our trip. Even if you’re not in the immediate area, a drive here and a stay in this wonderful house, will surely be one of the highlights of any trip. It was for ours.

We had a budget room with ensuite on the family balcony. Both bedroom and bathroom were perfectly clean. The family is super friendly and always helpful with local recommendations for restaurants and transportation options. Note that there is no kitchen available for this room, contrary to the listing. They offer a convenient Tuk Tuk service for better prices than you could find in Ella town. The walk to Ella town is slightly long, however, there is a shortcut via the train rails.

Wir verbrachten Ende März 2019 einige wunderschöne Tage im 3 Stock des "Heart Lodge, Upper Floor" in einem Appartement im kolonialen Stil des letzten Jahrunderts. Ein grosser Wohn/Schlafraum mit umlaufendem Balkon, fantastische Sicht auf das Tal hinter dem Ella-Rock. Auf dem Grundstück liegen etwas unterhalb die Quellen der Ravenna-Falls, die leicht zugänglich sind. Traumlage. Das Personl ist superfreundlich, sehr hilfsbereit, gibt klasse Ausflugsempfehlung ( vielen Dank Manoj! ) und bereitet vorzügliches lokales Essen. Für Naturliebhabe eine traumhafte Unterkunft. Die Temperaturen sehr angenehm im Gegensatz zu der großen Hitze in der Ebene, Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden sehr gern wieder kommen.

The stay in the Gamini’s home was the silver lining of my trip. The house was very beautifully decorated with a good sense of taste (I took some pictures of their home and glad they like them as well). Our room is very clean and has the local flavor of display. The location is a bit hard to find, but Gamini was so kind that he drove himself to show directions for our driver. The Gamini family was so warm to introduce their pretty little garden (we had a chance to taste their fresh vege salad, amazing!) and it turned out to be an awesome mini garden tour. We also had a very good evening sitting at the garden and chatting about family and their experiences. In the next morning, I was lucky to join their activities in the temple where I sent the prepared food to monks. It was so authentic experience that cannot be found in tourists places. Just as Gamini described, it is a lovely and peaceful place to get away from the noise. A strong recommendation for those who love nature and nice ppl

This was an amazing stay! I wish I stayed longer. The owners Asith and his wife have made a lovely piece of heaven in the mountains. The property and it's surrounding are a dream! The hosts are kind and made us a top notch breakfast. On top of that they are so accommodating and super hard working. There are some considerations when people choose to book, if you're bringing a mini van it's a bit tricky, but the owners make it work! But just keep in mind roads are narrow. They provide their tuk tuk to help as well.

Communication was great before & during our stay. Our time here was excellent. Magnificent views, comfortable living. Comfortable beds. Rooftop breakfasts a great way to start the day. Shan & JP were super helpful with recommendations and advice for Ella. Also arranged transport for us to local sites and offered to arrange our transfer to our next destination if we needed.

endroit très pratique pour séjourner à Nuwara Eliya en évitant le bruit du centre ville. accès rapide en ville même à pied. à environ 1h de route des Hortons Plains et proches des plantations de thé à voir dans la région. 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain : le top !

Поездка была семейная. Посмотрели фото, очень красивые пейзажи. Ожидания оправдались. Дом находится на высоте, очень красивый обзор, утром туман окутывает горы, просто супер! Хозяин всегда на связи и может решит все вопросы. В доме нас встретил управляющий, расположил, вызвал транспорт для поездки в город. В доме есть камин, вечером посидеть у камина приятное времяпровождение. Комнаты чистые, есть все необходимое, горячая вода. Утром нас накормили завтраком. В доме прекрасная оранжерея. Обеденный стол находится с прекрасным видом! Нам все понравилось. Мы рекомендуем, если будете в Нувара-Элии сделать остановку в этом доме.

Le fils de Vihanga a été très accueillant et sympathique. il a proposé de nous accompagner sur le début d'une randonnée pour nous montrer le chemin. Le logement était agréable et propre. très agréable endroit.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich Fantastisch. Sehr nette Gastfreundschaft und ein besonderer Service. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage ist auf einem Berg, fast an der Spitze. Es gibt 3 mögliche wege nach oben, ein Weg ist wirklich sehr steil und anstrengend. Wenn man sich vorher erkundigt welchen Weg man wählen soll ist das aber kein Problem. Der Gastgeber tut alles damit es einem gut geht.

We had a wonderful stay with Ru, Mike, their friendly team, and their beautiful dogs. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home with homemade ginger beer and the best coffee we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Our room was spacious and comfy with stunning valley views. The grounds are incredible—lush gardens, a large pool, and rolling hills. Ru gave us a lovely tour of the estate, introducing us to the animals and sharing her knowledge of the plants and spices used in their delicious meals. Her cooking was outstanding—like having a private chef! We also loved the cooking demo with her mum, followed by a Sri Lankan feast. Breakfasts were unforgettable, with fresh local twists and pastries worthy of Paris. Mike and Ru were generous, insightful hosts and helped us explore the area, including Lipton’s Seat, a tea factory, and Diyaluma Falls. Super herzlicher Empfang. 🥰 Wir sind etwas früher als geplant angereist und somit war unser Zimmer noch nicht bezugsfertig. Es hat allerdings keine 10 Minuten gedauert und es war fertig und wir haben zur Begrüßung erst mal Tee & Kaffee bekommen. Wir haben einige Möglichkeiten genannt bekommen, welche wir besichtigen können. Jeden Morgen gab es unglaublich leckeres Frühstück und hatten einen tollen Ausblick genossen. Tolle 3 Nächte die wir verbringen durften. Vielen Dank dafür! 🥰

Amazing view and very nice breakfast

Es war einer unserer schönsten Aufenthalte in einer Unterkunft. Die Aussicht war atemberaubend. Man konnte von der Terrasse aus auf einen Wasserfall schauen, während man wilde Affen beim klettern zuschauen konnte. Als Begrüßung gab es Tee und Süßgebäck. Ich habe noch nie so einen flexiblen und gastfreundlich Host erlebt wie Dileepa. Er hat uns eine selbstgezeichnete Karte gegeben, auf dem alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten und gute Restaurants in der Umgebung markiert waren und hat uns erklärt zu welcher Zeit man am besten was unternehmen kann. Wir haben neben einem super leckerem Frühstück sogar ganz früh morgens eine kleine Stärkung für die Wanderung bekommen, damit wir den Sonnenaufgang auf dem little adams Peak genießen konnten. Er hat uns sogar angeboten uns sowohl von der City abzuholen, als auch am Ende zum Bahnhof zu bringen. Einen besseren Host kann man sich nicht wünschen und wir bereuen nur, dass wir nicht mehr Tage gebucht haben um länger zu bleiben. :)

Everything was fantastic at Lilu’s! The place was clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning view. Breakfast was exceptional—truly one of the best I’ve had—and Lilu was an incredible host. She even arranged a personalized tuk-tuk tour for me to visit the waterfall, Nine Arches Bridge, tea factory, and Little Adam’s Peak. I was so impressed that I hired the same driver the next day to take me to Udawalawe. The location is within walking distance to the city center, which is super convenient—but I’d recommend bringing a flashlight if you’re walking at night, as some areas can be quite dark.

Unser Aufenthalt in Ella war magisch. Das verdanken wir auch dieser tollen Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage mit unvergleichlicher Aussicht. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und das meiste fußläufig gemacht. Die Unterkunft liegt auf einem Berg, weniger im Getümmel, was für uns perfekt war. Wenn man den Fußweg zur Stadtmitte von etwa 25 Minuten nicht in Kauf nehmen möchte, gibt es die Möglichkeit mit dem TukTuk zu fahren. Die Kommunikation mit Aruna war einwandfrei. Ein leckeres Frühstück ist inklusive und auch Abendessen gibt es zu sehr fairen Preisen. Das Zimmer war sauber und wir haben gemütlich geschlafen. Das Abreisen von diesem wunderschönen Ort fiel uns sehr schwer. Wenn wir nochmal nach Sri Lanka reisen, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder! Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.
