We had a nice stay at the house. The pool was a nice bonus, and the staff were very nice. We took most meals there and everything was well prepared. There is lots of room for an extended family for instance or a few couples. Two of the upstairs bedrooms are optimal for views with balconies. It was very quiet for sleeping. Thank you for a nice week!

One of our best holidays . The place was so peaceful and beautiful. The host Isuri and caretaker Shelton are really nice and helpful. We had a very relaxing weekend with our friends. This is really a hidden gem in the busy town of Moratuwa . Thank you !

wir haben die Ruhe, den Garten, den schönen Bungalow und die Nähe zum langen Strand sehr genossen. Janitha und ihre Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. war ein perfekter Einstieg für uns auf Sri Lanka.

It was a great place to stay, the owner did try to accuse us of mishandling their furniture. But it was resolved amicably, would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area. It is quite a drive from the main city, Colombo.

We were a family of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids) staying overnight at Chandana's place before heading out to Bentota next day noon. We arrived around 9:45 PM tired and weary, but were welcomed by the warm home of Padmi and Chandana. They had cooked some amazing hot dinner for us which we wolfed down. Their house is very contemporary and comfortable, and we all slept well. The rooms and the house is very clean with all the necessary amenities - whether you are renting the whole house or individual rooms. It is also in a quiet neighborhood and we woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. Definitely a place we will consider when we visit Colombo next.

This is my second time staying at this property and we loved the proximity to all the key places in Colombo. Yasmin was very helpful and organised. Looking forward to our next visit!

The place is quiet, convenient and offers an amazing outdoor space - the decent size pool is clean and well-lit in the evenings, there's a great pool house you can chill in/by, and you can literally take walks around the yard, it's that big. It's also an amazing opportunity to observe some of the local wildlife from the comfort of your sunbed or the patio - we saw a number of colourful birds, monkeys, squirrels, and komodos. The breakfast was generous and VERY tasty, and a great opportunity to try some local food (e.g., sambol, chicken curry, lentil/dhal curry, rotti) alongside your standard Western breakfast options. The villa caretakers are the sweetest people - attentive, kind, and ready to help with absolutely anything and everything! They looked after us and made sure we had a great time at the villa. For us, that made a massive difference, and if we're ever back in Colombo, we would be returning to the Temple Pond Villa.

Nylander was a great place to stay on our first night in Sri Lanka. The residents of the cooperative made us feel very welcome and told us about their life together. Unser Heim in Colombo! Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und modern. Ein Highlight ist die Dachterrasse. Jo spricht, was in Sri Lanka nicht die Regel ist, ausgezeichnet Englisch. Sie und ihre Familie haben sich sehr um uns und unsere Anliegen gekümmert. Die Aufnahme war sehr familiär und herzlich. Ihr Angebot, dass wir uns bei etwaigen problematischen Situationen während unseres Sri Lanka Aufhalst telefonisch an sie um Hilfe wenden können, ist uns eine sehr gute Beruhigung. Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben! Das Haus ist günstig gelegen, Restaurants, Supermarkt und Busstation in Laufnähe. Mit den Bussen ist man direkt sehr schnell in der Innenstadt und am Bahnhof. Wir vergeben vollen Herzens 5 Sterne plus 5 Extrasterne für die Gastfreundchaft.
