Loved the place I would go back again. Would love to go back when it is warmer so we could enjoy sitting out back on the deck and listening to the river. Couple of things to keep in mind. It tells you that they will give you a bundle of wood but if you want to start a fire in the fireplace for each day you are there you will definitely need to bring your own wood. The internet is very spotty. Tried watching Netflix and it would stop on us to look for internet service again. We had a hard time figuring out the TV and what remote to use to get to Netflix and so forth. They do good on giving you directions on how to turn the surround sound on but we didn’t see anything about the TV. There is a road right next to the house and cars drive very fast on it so make sure to watch pets. But again I liked the place.

We have been here a few times before and loved it! This was out third time staying here and it is starting to feel like home to us. Quiet, peaceful and a view of the Columbia River...what more could you want? I come here partly because of the close proximity to some great wineries, but also for the solitude. It is well-appointed and has everything we need...kitchen...sauna...hot tub...and a really nice deck out back! There is nothing quite like sitting on the deck, sipping great wine, and watching a flock of turkeys stroll by. Jodine was very accommodating when we decided to stay for a fourth day....all at the last minute, but not a problem! VERY cool ! I'm sure we will be staying here again soon. +: Looking forward to returning with my family. Host was attentive and quick to respond. Beds were all comfy. Place stayed warm the entire time. Home has a lot of essentials in kitchen and even board games! Hot tub was relaxing. Tons of towels were easy to access if needed. Location was great, serene sounds and close to many trails. -: (I’m being picky here) Downside is that I feel like check-in could be an hour earlier since we are responsible for starting loads of sheets and taking trash out. Found a few dust balls in living room, cobwebs on the chandelier and Cheetos under one of the beds.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our visit, making everything feel so easy and welcoming. We especially appreciated the emphasis on creating a family-friendly environment — it made our trip even more special. Great memories were made, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend!

Wonderful accommodations. Hot tub was lovely, cabin privacy and forest surrounding were just as described. This was the perfect location to take some groceries and a good book. We made our own dinner, all required kitchen items were included, including everything needed to clean up after ourselves. Our pup loved it there as well. I'm not sure it's listed in the description but the stairs to the second floor were very steep with no traction. had to carry the husky down them for her safety. Other than that this place is absolutely perfect!

Cozy cabin in a gorgeous peaceful location. Everything we needed was there, including a pre-laid fire! The views were gorgeous and made for the perfect get-away!

I loved this location and the house served our purposes perfectly. Very close to several gorgeous hikes, short drives to The Dalles and Hood River for restaurants, and the view of the Columbia River was stupendous. We really were comfortable and enjoyed our visit to Oregon very much because of the chance to stay here.

Best place we’ve stayed in at this price point, ever! Spectacular views out every window make the place feel bigger than It is. Sparkling clean, comfortable, with nice welcoming touches like board games in the closet for a rainy day. Our family of four adored it. And THOSE VIEWS!

The space is lovely and the sauna is a huge plus. I'm not sure where the complaints about privacy are coming from, the unit is about as far away as you'd expect neighbors to be and the shades are easy to use.

beautiful cabin! felt cozy and comfy from the first step in. definitely going to think about a bigger group and do the camping thing out there.

If you're looking for a charming, rustic, mystical cabin in the woods, this is the place to be! It was built in the 1930s and you can feel that the place has a lot of character and personality. We went there for our spring break and had a lovely time. If you step out on the porch to sit on the swing, you can hear the Henry creek flowing in the distance and it's really relaxing to hear that. We didn't really use the top floor as it was a bit colder, and didn't use the sauna so can't comment on that. For us, the highlight was the cozy living area downstairs, the swing on the porch & walking distance to a pizza place, a coffee place and a wilderness trail.

We had a lovely three night stay at Bruce's Airbnb. It was just as described and very roomy. The kitchen was the highlight, as we are all avid cooks. It had everything we needed including pots and pans, spices, olive oil, coffee, etc. We cooked up a storm as it was quite rainy while we were there. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and played lots of games at the large kitchen table. The generous hot water and excellent water pressure was much enjoyed after a long XC ski. There was a large deck with both a gas and charcoal grill but we didn't use them because of the weather. Lovely views over the Gorge and Columbia river too!

Talia is a FABULOUS host. She is very honest, helpful, and very blunt about her listings to ensure nothing is sugar coated. Her instructions were easy to read, her kindness was palpable, and her location was absolutely soul-reviving for myself and my equally outdoorsy bestie. Loved the whimsical and beautiful location. Truly in my top 10 memories now with the weekend we had there. And we were even caught in a storm! Loved it. Can’t say enough great things about the experience or the host. Thank you Talia!

Great location and a beautiful view. Even though there are a few cabins next door, it feels completely private. All the windows face a beautiful forested area and creek. The hot tub was wonderful and the house is clean.

We have visited many times and continue to find the place and Tracy to be top-notch which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The place checks all of our boxes for a relaxing, romantic getaway.

We had a great stay at Nedra’s place! We loved the walking path in the back next to the river, it was beautiful and peaceful! We also loved the rock band and spent the bad weather day inside relaxing and playing rock band as a family. Something we never do so it was super fun! There was plenty of food places nearby so we took advantage of that as well as cooked breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen! Beautiful location, fully functional house we would definitely love to stay again!

This is the closest you will come to ski-in, ski-out on Mt. Hood; very convenient short walk to the tubing hill and Ski Bowl. I appreciated that the condo was so well stocked with household items that you may have forgotten to bring; foil, plastic wrap, spices, cleaning supplies. Truly, it was the best stocked condo I've ever rented. They also had a wonderful supply of children's toys, sleds, games and even a play area for little ones. We had a great time and many thanks for all the thoughtful and considerate amenities.

We stayed for 5 days at this cute cabin. It was a great home base to easily go find a quick hike and then come back and relax. It was a residential neighborhood, but when you were inside or out on the back deck, it felt very private. At this time of year, during the summer, you can’t really see the river from the house, but you get a view of tall, beautiful trees swaying in the breeze and a beautiful tree covered mountain. Sitting on the deck for morning coffee and evening dinner was our absolute favorite part. The afternoon hours get too hot to be out on the deck, so that was when we went for hikes, stayed inside, read, and played foozball. My boys loved having the video games to play (I took the violent ones out), the air conditioning was awesome, the kitchen was well-stocked, lots of kitchen and bath towels. King bed was so comfortable. There is a loft with 2 beds, one right by the railing, so I wouldn’t recommend having a small child up there. Fooz table was fun! Windows and sliding door could use replacing because it is hard to see out of them and door is so hard to open and close. Place was super cute and we enjoyed our stay very much.
