A stunning home with a beautiful view of the mountains. The house is huge, with views in almost every room. Everything was comfortable and clean, we even had a barby on the roof. Sitting in the spa and looking at the stars was magical. The hosts were responsive and friendly, and even proactively offered us a late check out, which was very much appreciated! Fantastic stay.

Like previous reviews, Haywards Cottage is a gorgeous step back in time but with all the necessities to make for a truly relaxing stay. The property itself is huge with gorgeous gardens and we loved sitting on the front verandah in the sunshine with a glass of wine. Sharon is lovely and we appreciated the early check in. A block from Rylstone Main Street so walkable to cafes, pubs and restaurants. Thanks Sharon, we had a lovely stay.

Don and Patricia were great hosts! They communicated with us from day one really well. We requested an early check in and they were happy to help. They also brought us over an iron when we needed one. Overall, a great stay. Thanks again.

Maddy’s home was the perfect place for our Blue Mountain getaway. It easily accommodated the 6 adults and 2 grandchildren. The kitchen was well equiped and had plenty of room for the chefs and helpers to chat. The house feels extremely homely, very comfortable with a long table for the whole family to enjoy the feast and take in the wonderful views through the large glass windows. We watched the footy and selected Snakes and Ladders to play (from the tastefully selected supply of games provided) in the lounge off the dining area and then retired to the more intimate lounge to enjoy a quite time in front of the fireplace. Ornate sideboards are adorned with intriguing, beautiful ornaments. There is a great collection of paintings and sculptures, a nice selection of books and an old fashioned CD player with a selection of CDs that seemed to fit in perfectly with the quite country charm of the home. The grounds are perfectly maintained and the neighbours home are a good distance away

Cathy made us feel so welcome, with the extra treats, panty supplies and games. The outdoor area is perfect for dogs and the fire pit a bonus! A really convenient location to find and easy to walk to the town - highly recommended.

Rob’s place was fantastic! It had everything we needed and more. Location was excellent. Nice and quiet street but 30 min walk to centre of town. Rob was an excellent communicator and very proactive with all the details required for checkin.

really appreciated Domenica's help on dog friendly activities and sitters. The cottage was exactly as described - the outside furniture is comfortable and really nice to relax outside. there were plenty of good quality heaters/fans although we didn't need them. And Orange was an interesting place to visit

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Banyandah. It was a lovely place to stay and we would love to return. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Mortimer’s studio AirBnb. The place was very clean and cosy - we loved having dinner on the deck overlooking the beautiful vineyard, and snuggling up on the couch with the indoor fireplace. The place was very private, however we did often hear people walking around in the upstairs airbnb. This wasn’t ideal, but it didn’t detract from our time here. It was a bit windy to get a fire started in the fire pit, but we’d definitely stay here again just to sit amongst the vineyards with a glass of wine and the fire pit!

This is the 3rd time I've stayed here and nothing has disappointed. The property is beautifully presented. The garage is a great size that you can access all doors with ease. It's a close walk to Orange CBD. A great place to stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Canyons Retreat: Denise gave us a great welcome and excellent local recommendations. The accommodation was exactly as described, not overly luxurious, it offered great comfort and charm, a retreat in the mountain. Outstanding lounge room, perfect for relaxing on rainy days and plenty of space. The kitchen was enough to cook a nice breakfast with a single burner, maybe not enough to cook a bigger meal. I would recommend this place for couples seeking privacy and connection to the bush. Thanks for having us!

The house was spotless and did not disappoint. It was easy to find and close to shops, cafes and restaurants. The view from the balcony was stunning and overall it was a really relaxing stay. Sarah was quick to respond to any questions and checked in to make sure everything was up to standard. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who visits Bathurst.

Lovely converted barn with a fully equipped kitchen, modern ensuite bathroom and rustic wood fire heating. Set in picturesque vineyards, beautiful anytime of the year. Bring your dog for lots of space to run and play. Not a long drive from local attractions. Will be coming again!

Family of four. We had a lovely time at The Loft in Turon. What we liked Location is great The abundance of bird life, we’ve been staying at Turon since 2006 and I think this is the first time I’ve seen or maybe paid attention to the abundance of birds. Well equipped with things to entertain the kids board games, movies, books etc Kitchen well stocked for utensils and condiments Dog amenities also good Amazing water pressure and gas hot water for a cabin in the bush Hosts communicated well What could be better There are a few small maintenance issues during our stay flagged with the hosts to address. I wasn’t a fan of the mattress ( too firm/ hard) which made sleep a little less restful than expected for me. It appears the people before us didn’t do a very good job cleaning the BBQ, but that’s easy enough to do.

Such a magical spot! The cabin is so cozy, with the perfect sunny balcony for relaxing and watching the bush. Joel and Andrea were friendly, and Joel's guided wildlife walk was such a highlight. Can't wait to return!

Fiona’s place was truly a slice of heaven for me and my partner. The property was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials we could possibly need — she clearly hasn’t compromised on quality. From board games and a smart TV to camping basics and cozy outdoor seating overlooking Bathurst, every detail added to our experience. We loved the bonfire setup, complete with wood and firelighters, which made our evenings even more special. The lounge sofa wasn’t the most comfortable, but honestly, that’s a small thing compared to how perfect the rest of the stay was. The vineyard next door was a lovely touch, and spotting kangaroos throughout the day made it feel magical. We were lucky with clear skies both nights, and the stargazing was absolutely breathtaking. We’ll definitely be back again soon — highly recommend this spot!

We had a wonderful time - right from the first moment when we were greeted by Simon’s lovely dogs to our last look into the little birds nest outside the lounge room window. The location and the layout of the place make for a relaxed peaceful getaway from everything. The lack of phone connection was a great bonus - we loved being away from our phones for three days!
