A truly unique place in stunning surroundings. Very conveniently located near MONA and the wildlife sanctuary with a couple of lovely wineries nearby. The comments from previous guests are accurate - one large living area so suitable for a family.

We had a fantastic stay at Austins Ferry. The house was exactly as described - clean, modern and very comfortable. The hightlight was certainly the amazing view! It was so peaceful waking up in the morning to views of the mountains and the Derwent River. Johnnie was also a fantastic host. Very responsive and great communication.

We had a reunion with long term friends rang in from in their 60s to 5 months old. We were coming from lots of different locations in Australia and wanted a place that allowed us to ‘just hang out’ together as well as being able to go for a walk and not spend too much time in the car to see places. This home caught our eye. It was perfect with 7 bedrooms, 4 toilets, 3 showers and 2 baths as well as huge living rooms, dining table and verandahs. Mark provided ample towels etc and toiletries for all of us. The kitchen was well appointed and had lots of fridge and pantry space etc. The high chairs and non-slip bath mat were a bonus. Thank you. We all found ourselves drawn the magnificent view. We would highly recommend this and will book again in the future.

We were in awe when we first arrived at the place, the house was sitting with a magnificent view infront, there were mountains, seas and little houses. It was just breathtaking. Upon entering the house, we were greeted with a cozy ambience, we felt just right at home. Margy's house was equipped with everything we needed for the stay. The place was clean and tidy and it had a lovely little outdoor area for us to unwind and relax while enjoying the view. It was a wonderful stay and Margy is really helpful with giving clear instructions. We are really thankful for the stay and we hope we will be back again!😍

The house is so cute and everybody liked it. It’s a good trip for us and I will recommend this house to my friends.

Loved our stay at the cottage. We used it as a base while we explored Hobart and surrounds. It is just across the road from a small shopping centre to stock up on any supplies during your stay. Rosslyn was a great host who provided a beautiful place that felt very warm. She provided us with lots of suggestions and recommendations of things to do while visiting. Will definitely be recommending this cottage to people visiting the area and will be back next trip to Hobart!

The Pinot Cottage was outstanding and the highlight of our trip as far as accomodation goes. We were treated us to a private wine tasting and the host went over and beyond to make our stay special. My only regret is that we didn’t stay there longer! I will be encouraging anyone who is wanting to visit Tassie to stay at this amazing property. Thank you Jan and Louise.
