Had a great 3 night family get together at Marees Farmstay. Country hospitality at its best. We had a large group of people and it was perfect for our 4 generations of family, youngest being 2 and the oldest 76. Catered for everybody, with lots of great entertainment areas, as well as a very spacious, warm and inviting country homestead. Maree was a very helpful and friendly host, before, during and after our trip as well when she found and delivered all of our misplaced property. A perfect location if visiting the Mt Moffat National Park. Marees Farmstay is set in a true outback location. You get to experience staying on a cattle farm, in a bush/country landscape, living in a typical country farmhouse, that is warm and inviting, and felt like a real home. Our grandson loved the cubby/mud kitchen area. For the teenagers the ping pong area and the fishing hole was a favourite. The fire pit area was utilised every night of our stay. We had a great whole family holiday.

Our stay was absolutely brilliant. The cabin was lovely. Perfect really. Pam and Dave were exceptional hosts. Dog, cat and chooks all make for a magical time. Pity the fossicking tours were not running, but we will be back when they recommence. Thank you so much. We had a wonderful experience. So much more than just accommodation!

I can’t see why you would stay at a motel if you get a whole house for a cheaper rate.

Extremely friendly Managers that run the hotel. They made sure that I had everything we needed. I definitely would recommend this hotel to others.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Midlander. It was very clean and today.

Myself and work crew stayed at les's house for a couple weeks while we were working on a nearby project, Les is a great host, communicates well and happy help out any way he can. The house is a typical old Queensland cottage, very clean, high quality comfy beds, each room has air-conditioning, flat screen tely and bar fridge. The house has a full kitchen two bathrooms and laundry facilities, perfect for a working crew away from home, the house is also just a 2 minute walk to the pub and grandma's groceries store.

A really lovely, spacious and clean room. Large bathroom and little kitchenette which came with free lemonade, water, milk, tea and coffee which was nice. There was a coffee machine, kettle, plug-in hob, microwave, plates and cutlery and a saucepan. The bed was comfy and it was so nice to be able to lie down in bed and watch Apple TV, plus other streaming services like Disney plus. Would 100% stay here again, thank you!

This place was awesome and honestly just a great place and find in emerald. There wasn’t many choices but this was by far the cleanest and best choice of stay we could have asked for. The staff were extremely flexible as we stayed an extra night and they were very understanding. 10/10 recommended!!!!
