Beautiful, peaceful, and private. So many different spots to enjoy. Everything was well-thought out, considered, and gorgeous to look at and enjoy. We instantly felt relaxed and looked after during our stay. :)

My wife and I had an excellent stay at Kookaburra Rest for our wedding anniversary. The place was exactly as described on the booking and absolutely relaxing and peaceful. There was some great touches that made our stay very comfortable. The board games, fire pit, Netflix, picnic gear and hot tub, all added to our experience. We left totally relaxed and happy! Thanks Dave and Persia for also being very helpful and with great communication.

The most special place we’ve ever stayed. This made our trip, after 1 month of traveling, we never felt more at home, grounded and inspired. We will be back for much longer, for the wildlife, the insects, plants, stream, beautiful home with the best deck overlooking the rainforest and for the newfound friendship we have with Brad & Cicilia. They are some of the most genuine, warm hearted, adventurous and kind people we’ve ever met and we really didn’t want to leave. Till next time!

We loved every minute of our stay with Barbara. Everything was just wonderful and it felt like walking into a 5 star hotel only better. Nothing was any trouble to our hosts and they were so friendly. Barbara had lots of advice as to good places to eat and great places to visit. I have recommended it to everyone I have spoken to and will continue to do in the future. We loved our recent stay at the Cabin In The Woods. The location is very beautiful, with lovey views from the house through the spotless large windows. The cabin is gorgeous, very spacious and well laid out and maintained. Our host Cameron’s attention to detail is impressive, with everything so clean and well equiped. The kitchen is large and a delight to prepare meals in. We didn’t even want to go out to eat ! Too nice at the house. It is also very peaceful, surrounded by forests, and the swimming pool is a refreshing way to cool down. The house is much larger inside than we had imagined, with generous sized rooms and bedrooms. It is easy to get around by car and we drove to nearby beaches everyday. We also loved our stay as Cameron was generous in allowing our small elderly dog to come with us. We didn’t want to leave ! If we are ever up at the Sunshine Coast again we would be very happy to have the opportunity to stay there again. Thanks Cameron

James' place was awesome. Very private with beautiful surroundings. The accommodation had everything we needed to relax and unwind for a few days, and the location offered so much to do. Our dog had a great time, and we even got a few visits from a very friendly horse. Would definitely recommend!

So relaxing! Loved chilling on the verandah with a cuppa with the birds in the morning and playing boardgames there with the beautiful view. Loved hearing the creek all the time, enjoying the picnic area at the swimming hole and having a deer stop in while we were there. Had fun making s'mores at the fire pit and enjoying the stars. it's so private and relaxing not seeing any other buildings, just trees, birds and the llamas next door. Lauren and Scott were very generous with early check in and late checkout. we really appreciated the extra time for one final swim in the stunning creek! Was really nice being able to take our guinea pigs on holiday with us. The decor was very nice. the kitchen was very well equipped. Service was excellent. We all loved it and would come again. thanks Lauren and Scott.

We had a fantastic stay! The location is beautiful, you feel like you are away from everything but in fact you’re only a few mins drive to the town centre and beaches. You can even Uber Eats from restaurants in Noosa for total relaxation. The kitchen is well equipped so you can cook too. The house was clean and the deck and fire pit were Devine. Everything was exactly as described and the fact that our mini dachshund Penelope was able to enjoy the family getaway with us was even better! Thanks to the owners/hosts. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved staying here, will be back again for sure. It's a nice, clean, private, peaceful, quiet space. Billy and Orla were very welcoming and kind. We live in chaotic Brisbane so we loved feeling "off the grid". Only a short drive from restaurants and beaches. Big enough for our little family of 3. Highly recommend! Beautiful little stay. Gorgeous property & view. A great, quiet getaway spot.

We had a wonderful stay. It was very special to wake up to horses right outside the cabin. It’s a beautiful spot to relax and feel close to nature. The cabin is exactly as described, clean and well equipped. Boardgames and Lego for the little ones is a thoughtful touch. We visited after heavy rainfall. Because of this we’d definitely recommend taking a 4wd for the creek crossings. Also, the access to the cabin is very steep.

Craig’s dog-friendly Airbnb was perfect for our golden retriever puppy’s first holiday! The place was extremely clean when we arrived, and super dog proof. The location was incredible, being two minutes from a large shopping centre and walking distance to the dog friendly beach. The kitchen was well equipped - the touch of filtered water was fantastic. Craig was very responsive and checkin was easy. I would love to come here again in the future!

This cottage was just gorgeous! From the moment we drove into the property, we felt so relaxed and happy from the surroundings. Lee met us for an easy and friendly check in. We loved meeting Lee and she recommended some places for us to eat dinner! The place feels private and serene. The sounds of the people rainforest are just devine to fall asleep to. The next morning, we had cups of tea and cooked ourselves a breakfast. The cottage had everything we needed to cook up eggs and mushrooms we had purchased at the Montville shops the day before. Lee even left some fresh herbs which we cooked with our breakfast. The patio outside was the perfect place to eat or to cheers a sunset drink. Thanks for a wonderful stay :)

“Tranquility” was what it provided. It rained in the middle day, but all the more it gave a refreshing cleansing effect! The cabin had everything I needed, so I spent my days quite comfortably. Possibly if it showed the photos of the path between the roofed parking area and the cabin, it will avoid “a surprise”, though Jo has described the walk. For me, walking up and down those stairs was part of unwinding process. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. I hope it stays like that unchanged.

We really enjoyed staying at Lloyd’s little cottage tucked away in a hollow by a creek. We also enjoyed the the thoughtful selection of local produce supplied. However, the main pleasure was being hidden away and surrounded by nature. We usually enjoy going into nearby Maleny but felt it was way too busy for us and gladly retreated to our little cottage. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back!

Highly recommend this little slice of paradise. So special to be able to lay in bed watching the sun rise or sit on the comfortable couch on the veranda with a coffee and watch the sun come over the hills. We slept so very well in the huge bed and enjoyed cooking outside using the BBQ while enjoying the view and the fire pit. The amenities are kept in a pristine state and we used the hob inside to cook ravioli once too. Everything was just what we needed for a 3 night getaway to rest, recharge and reconnect. Would definitely stay again.

Russel and Tracy were great hosts. From booking, check in and check out they were responsive and helpful the whole time. This is a lovely, unique stay with an abundance of wildlife and beautiful surroundings. Will definitely stay again !
