Great place to enjoy a peaceful time. Mountain views and swimming pool as a bonus. The location is close to the highway and ~1h away from diverse natural sceneries and cities. A car is needed to go about, Internet is not the best but OK when it worked, the sewage can also let some unwanted smells out but not a terrible thing considering that you are in a cottage in the middle of the forest like Hill. Overall the place is recommended!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Benny empfangen und haben uns allgemein sehr wohlgefühlt in der Wohnung. Die Lage ist super, kurzer Weg zum Strand, zwei kleine Supermärkte und ein gutes Restaurant in der Nähe und mit dem Auto ist es zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten auch nicht weit. Die Wohnung selbst war genau wie beschrieben, sehr sauber und gut geschnitten. Auch die Klimaanlage hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Wenn wir Hilfe benötigten, war Benny gut erreichbar. Falls es mich nochmal nach Kreta verschlägt, komme ich gerne wieder nach Stalida :-)

Notre découverte à Akoumia d’une famille gréco-crétoise formidable nous a émus. Il s’agit de Dimitra et Costas. La réception a été au delà de notre attente. Nous avons trouvé un logement avec tout le nécessaire en arrivant: cuisine, salle de bain, couchage, serviettes de bain… La nourriture prise au restaurant, géré par Dimitra, est issue de la ferme-culture-élevage (chèvres, moutons), gérée par Costas. Elle est biologique. Voici ce que l’on trouve: vin, raki, lait de chèvre, viande, légumes… produits de qualité sains. Dithyrambique, c’est le mot non usurpé. Akoumia est un village crétois typique. 3 églises dans un parcours de 200 mètres! Une voiture est nécessaire pour visiter, faire les courses. Les plages, très jolies, sont à une vingtaine de minutes. Nous avons vécu dans un roman de Kazantsakis le Grec. Merci infiniment à Dimitra et Kostas Nous conseillons vivement cet hébergement.

An enchanting accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful location. We found very sweet people in the other two houses, and the tables outside and poolside provided a perfect space to have great breakfasts and day-long relaxing chat with each other. The relative isolation of the location provides tranquility and allows you to admire a million stars at night. At the same time, in just 5' by car you reach the village of Vamos where you can find minimarkets, great tavernas and also a great cafeteria/breakfast place (the Ano Kato). Mikela - the host - can be contacted in a matter of minutes and is very helpful. We hope to come back in this magical place at some point in the future.

We (father, two children) booked Yanna's house for 9 days in April 2025. Yanna and her husband Yiannis gave us a warm welcome, and check-in was very easy. The house is beautifully situated on a hillside with an east-facing view toward the sunrise. You quickly learn to appreciate breakfast on the patio! The house was very clean, equipped with everything you need, and had comfortable beds. The highlight is certainly the outdoor area, which has been lovingly designed. The old coastal road is below the property, and traffic can be a bit annoying during the day on weekdays. However, it is quiet at night and on the weekends. A car is essential; it's a 10-15-minute drive to Agios Nikolaos (pleanty of restaurants and supermarkets). Yanna can give good tips for restaurants in the area. Cretan hospitality is well known, but Yanna and Yiannis have taken it to the next level!

Un accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes dans leur hôtel très calme et bien situé pour profiter des plages et restaurants. Un petit déjeuner parfait pour attaquer la journée en pleine forme ! Merci encore à vous.

La maison est tres confortable et bien équipée. La vue est époustouflante et la piscine privée est parfaite pour se rafraîchir. La region est super. 2 belles chambres double et une belle chambre pour enfants avec lits superposés. Merci Kaisa pour l'accueil. Nois reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Die Apartements, die Anlage, die Lage, die Umgebung, der Host, die Mitarbeiter ... alles wunderschön und perfekt für einen erholsamen Urlaub.

Το σπίτι ήταν πολύ καθαρό, ευρύχωρο, πολύ όμορφα διακοσμημένο. Η περιοχή συνδιάζει βουνό και θάλασσα. Προσφέρει ηρεμία και ξεκούραση από τους θορύβους της πόλης. Απολαύσαμε τον καφέ και τα γεύματά μας ατενίζοντας τους καταπράσινους ελαιώνες και το καμπαναριό της Παναγίας, παράλληλα με έναν ατέλειωτο ανοιχτό ορίζοντα . Το περιβάλλον προσφέρεται για περπάτημα και περιηγήσεις στην Κρητική φύση γνωρίζοντας και την πολύτιμη ιστορία και τους αγώνες των κατοίκων της περιοχής. Σε κοντινή απόσταση υπάρχουν γραφικά καφενεία . Οι κάτοικοι της περιοχής είναι φιλόξενοι και πολύ ευγενικοί. Μείναμε κατενθουσιασμένοι, θα επιστρέψουμε σίγουρα.

This place is in a great location in Rethymno, not terribly far from parking as old town goes yet also in a nice quiet street by being convenient to a lot to do. Had a very modern feel, plenty of bathrooms and such a cool bohemian feeling back porch. Good value for 2 couples staying in Rethymno.

L'appartement offre une vue à couper le souffle. Il y a de quoi faire la lessive, et tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. L'endroit est très sauvage et calme. La communication a été facile avec notre hôte. Nous sommes allés manger le soir dans la taverne qu'il nous avait recommandée, et c'était super.

Kann den Aufenthalt hier empfehlen. Man ist mitten im Zentrum, das heißt abends hört man ein bisschen die Live-Musik wenn welche gespielt wird, aber uns hat es nicht wirklich gestört, zumal wir meistens eh mitten im Geschehen waren. Ansonsten hört die Musik im Ort immer gegen ca. Mitternacht auf. Das Airbnb selbst ist eher zweckmäßig eingerichtet, aber alles ist sauber und funktioniert. Die Bilder zeigen genau, was man bekommt, es ist keine Mogelpackung. War mehr als ausreichend, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Manolis is very good, communicative host who offers decent accomodation for a fair price. As we travel to this area on a regular basis and have a few comparisons, I would recommend Kapsali's House as one of the best places we stayed in. No problems at all, maybe a bathroom would deserve some more polishing.

Καθαρό σπίτι με όλες τις ανέσεις για μια ευχάριστη διαμονή. Ο κύριος Δημήτρης και η κυρία Μαρία ήταν πολύ φιλόξενοι και διακριτικοί.

Ein nettes kleines Apartment. Der Strand ist fußgängig leicht erreichbar. Die Stadt selbst biete ein paar kleine Restaurants. Für mehr Erfahrungen der Insel bietet sich das Mieten eines Autos super an.

Wir können die Unterkunft ohne Einschränkung empfehlen - Die Terasse ist sensationell, noch besser als auf den Fotos - Toller Blick auf das Kretische Meer - Sehr gute Matratzen - Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter - Guter Startpunkt für viele Unternehmungen in Ost und Mittel Kreta Hinweise: - Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe der Autobahn, die hört man manchmal, hat uns aber nicht gestört. - Das Dorf Malia fanden wir ganz schrecklich, aber zum Einkaufen und Essen gehen ok. und sonst muss man da auch nicht hin. Weiteres: Wir sind mit Aegean geflogen und haben bei bluecarrental ein Auto gemietet. Beides war sehr gut.

Lovely stay at Fotinis House, house is lovely, good distance from beaches at Matala, various hikes and well situated in a nice village with amenities (petrol, shops, restaurants). Host was amazing - we arrived late and he had stocked the fridge with essentials for us in case we needed anything that night. Would highly recommend- wonderful stay!

Maria und Stelios waren sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und haben uns persönlich beim Check-In empfangen. Auch während des Aufenthalts haben sie sich gekümmert und uns sogar zwischendurch lokale Spezialitäten auf die Terrasse gelegt. Die Wohnung war aussergewöhlich schön. Die Küche ist sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Auf der großen Terrasse haben wir gerne gegessen und auf dem zusätzlichen, ebenfalls großen Balkon Kaffee getrunken. Terrasse und Balkon sind ausschließlich für die Wohnung und mit genügend Sonnenschutz ausgestattet, der auch Privatsphäre bietet. Die Wohnung ist super gelegen. Zum Strand sind es nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß. Dort findet man auch jede Menge Gelegenheiten zum Essen oder Kaffee trinken. Der Supermarkt ist ebenfalls zu Fuß sehr nah. Es gibt zudem unzählige kleinere Supermärkte, Bäckereien und andere Läden in der Nachbarschaft. Alles ist ohne Auto erreichbar. Zu Fuß in die Altstadt sind es ca. 20 Minuten. Wir sind oft mit dem Bus gefahren (5 Min).

Die Unterkunft war angenehm einfach und ich liebte den weißen Rüschenvorhang im Ensemble. Sonst funktional und manchmal wunderbar provisorisch. Genau mein Geschmack! ABER: die Lage der Unterkunft (direkt am Wasser), etwas am Rande vom Dorfkern, ruhig u plätschernd, hat mich vom Hocker gehauen. SO SCHÖN! Sonstige INFOS: man kann mit Bus von Iraklion mit Umsteigen in Mires schön aufregend die Gegend genießen und mal ins griechische Alltags Leben eintauchen (Preis insgesamt ~10€/Iraklion-Lentas). Im Dorf sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Umgebung bietet zu Fuß andere Strände, schöne Pattwege und eine spannende Schlucht im Osten. Nicht zu vergessen die Besteigung des Löwen (Berg von Lentas). Auch wichtig: nehmt Strand-oder Badeschuhe und wenn möglich Schnorchel Equipment oder sonstige Bade Gadgets mit. Kontakt mit den Hosts war auch super. Absolute Empfehlung!!!!

Alexandros est un hôte très chaleureux et généreux. Il est aux petits soins. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, dans un appartement tout confort et impeccable. Accessibilité à la petite plage la plus proche, très agréable. A 15 min de Chania et 10min de plusieurs autres plages. Je recommande, en famille ou entre amis. C’était super.

Ένα πολύ όμορφο και άνετο διαμερισμα, καλά διαμορφωμένος σαν χώρος τόσο εσωτερικά όσο και εξωτερικά, με ωραία διακόσμηση. Ιδανική τοποθεσία, με μεγάλη ευκολία στο παρκάρισμα. Η φιλοξενία εξαιρετική, θα ήθελα πολύ να μείνω ξανά εκεί, σας το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.
