My wife, Rosemary and I renovated the house in 2012 and tried to preserve the original charm and character

Cottage by the Lake

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

Lauri's Cottage - Secluded & Pet Friendly

Set on 5 acres of mainly native bushland, our cottage is a real retreat from the urban rat race. The cottage is well equipped with everything to make your stay enjoyable. We have central hydronic heating but the 2 large open fireplaces are a real feature of the cottage. We are regularly visited by kangaroos, kookaburras and other native wildlife. Fur kids are entirely welcome and we have a secure area with a large kennel if you want to leave them while you explore the delights of Daylesford.

Tiny home I, off-grid and pet friendly

Off-grid, both pet friendly and vegan friendly Tiny home with great outdoor amenities. Beautiful views down to the lake often with wild bird life and mobs of kangaroos. The outdoor deck has dining and lounge furniture offering the perfect opportunity to enjoy sunrise and sunset, clear night skies and the brightest of stars. You also get to overlook the disc golf course that makes its way around the lake. You are most welcome to play disc golf, we supply the discs free of charge.

Our ORTO Cottage is gorgeous: it offers privacy or the chance to engage with us. We are a Cooking School & Regenerative Farm. We offer a tour of our property on arrival: opt out if you wish. We provide fresh eggs, home made bread, milk, coffee & seasonal herbs from our garden. Our beautiful summer wetland is perfect for swimming, fishing, reading a book. LGBTQI welcome! The Barn at Weatherboard

Set among an abundant and lively garden, The Barn is our fully detached, unique guest house. The building was originally a fully functional blue stone farm barn but since owning the property we have converted the space into an open plan house, complete with kitchen, bathroom, large living area and two mezzanine bedrooms. The outside remains in its original state while the inside has been decorated with a collection of artwork and objects from our travels overseas.
