This place feels really special, it’s absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We had a lovely, slow paced four night stay with our family and friends. I was already daydreaming about the next time we could visit, before we had even left. Hopefully sometime soon x

Good Points Very clean, plenty of room for everyone Bad Points Not sign posted very well, the owners did say that it was a little confusing to get to the location, they could have the House Number on the fence??? No hand towels, flannels or floor towels in main bathroom.

Great spot to base yourself in Bicheno . Easy spot to stay with a family of five - great secure yard (perfect for Easter bunny to drop by !) Thanks Lisa and Beau for allowing us to stay at your place and enjoy what Bicheno has to offer .

Everything was absolutely perfect. I visited all the attractions and restaurants recommended by Maddy, except for a few inland spots because we were short on time. Every place we went to was stunningly beautiful, and the food at the restaurants was excellent. Most importantly, after a long drive with my family, we arrived at Maddy’s cottage to find the lights on, the heating running, and soothing music playing. It truly felt like coming home, as if someone was waiting for us. In the midst of a long journey, that moment brought such warmth to me and my family — a memory we will cherish for a long time. So, if anyone asks me for travel advice about Tasmania, I would say: make sure to spend at least one night in St. Helen, and stay at Maddy’s cottage to experience the feeling of coming home!

A unique experience , Scott’s place is a wonderful peaceful getaway , surrounded by trees within a very short stroll to the beach . The floor to ceiling windows really make you feel like your emersed in the natural environment . The contemporary design , well stocked kitchen and facilities in general make for a very comfortable stay . The fabulous beach and easy reach of the Freycinet peninsula make this an ideal place to explore Tasmania’s incredible east coast . Watch the sunrise over the freycinet peaks then go for a morning dip , it doesn’t get much better .

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the sand with incredible ocean views and stunning surroundings. Super comfortable beds and a great outdoor space made it feel like a true home away from home. Communication with the host was smooth and easy, and check-in was a breeze. Had a lovely time at Diamond retreat too. communication from the owners was great. The view each morning was beautiful, quiet and serene. The house had everything you needed for a short stay.
