Judith & Mark, Thank you so much for a weekend of bliss in the bush, it’s just what we needed. It’s not surprising you’re one of the top-rated stays on Airbnb. The care and thoughtfulness that has gone into this property has not gone unnoticed. Everywhere is spotless, the windows are so clean and clear you wouldn’t even realise they’re there! It really helps to ensure you feel at one with nature. The shack is equipped with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The spa was a big highlight for us. It’s very rewarding to hop in and soak in the sounds of nature once you’ve got it to the right temperature. We hope to come back one day!

This spot is fantastic for getting away and reconnecting with nature. Secluded, beautiful views and excellent property with great amenities. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery for cooking at the property which is essential for this retreat. I highly recommend staying here and will be back again soon. Jessie is a fantastic host and went out of her way to ensure we had materials for the fire pit and were comfortable during our stay. Thanks again :)

Such a beautiful little cottage with some really lovely finishing touches. I loved the outdoor bath! The traffic noise wasn’t even noticeable, but I’m not a light sleeper. Bed was super comfy. Chantelle is very friendly, responsive and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay.

This stay is by far one of the best Air B&B stays I’ve ever had. Went for a peaceful getaway and it was perfect. Andy was the most attentive host and his property was beyond beautiful and pristine. How he keeps the entire 3 acres this perfect is beyond me. The location, on the edge of a huge gorge had the best views ever! We enjoyed his stunning rock pool that looked like it was cut straight out of the natural, huge rock formations in the area. We ate outside almost every night in the beautiful garden area. Even made a small bonfire and just enjoyed the night. I cannot recommend Andy’s cottages more. We will for sure be back soon!

Peaceful, homely and unique stay. Our son and dog absolutely loved the place and it’s a great place to escape the busyness of life and reconnect with nature and each other. Tessa was quick and friendly and the check in process was simple. It’s a lovely area and community and the church is unique and fully equipped to cater perfectly to families, couples and pets :) we will be back! Thank you Tessa and family x

The house was perfect for our girls weekend doing the coastal cliff walk in the park. It’s a few minutes walk to the IGA and all the restaurants and beaches and also a few minutes walk to the start of the hike. The place was perfect for us with comfy beds, plenty of kitchen supplies and outdoor and indoor spaces that were easy to hang out in. The back yard is way bigger than it looks in the photos and we enjoyed a little fire and wine for our late night chats. Highly recommend this place.

We had a relaxing stay at Stephanie’s cottage. The place was perfect for a long weekend away and location is stunning. Stephanie was a great host and our teenagers particularly loved feeding and being led on a pony ride. We enjoyed fishing, walking our dog off lead at local reserves and picking apples at Bilpin. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yattalunga Cottage. The house is spotless and has a great flow; the kitchen is well-equipped and spacious, and the backyard is super relaxing. We loved the little details around the house, painted rocks, paintings and trinkets. Not to mention, there is beautiful greenery both outside and inside. It really is a special place. Thank you, Josette, for having us; we will be coming back in the future!

Very few places exceed my expectations, the Mud Brick Hut was one of them. I was looking for something private ✅ quirky ✅ with a fire ✅and bath ✅. You feel like you are a million miles away, where in fact. 15 minute drive has you in Nth Richmond. It was raining, we loved the space so much we didn’t want to leave. We spent hours around the fire playing guitar, and then raided the games and spent an afternoon playing chess! Fiona’s place. Is rustic and full of charm and stories. The upstairs loft space is huge- with comfy bed and quality linens. Fiona is super nice, helpful and just lovely host . The little town of Grose Vale is cute and I would love to explore more one day. I definitely would recommend The Mud Hut. Thankyou Fiona!

Fantastic property. The house was super-clean and it was probably the best stocked kitchen of any airbnb that I have stayed at. The location was quiet and the front balcony was great for taking in the water views, the sunsets and for feeding the local birds. We would definitely stay again.

What a gem!! We so enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would recommend to anyone. Every single detail is done with love, the house was very clean, and all the seats, couch, outdoor, bed very comfy. Amber was really quick with communication and allowed us to stay last minute and check out a bit later which we really appreciated. Lovely stay and would recommend to everyone.

Ruby's little beachside retreat is a gem. It is very well positioned in the very quiet and peaceful part of the town, about 10 minutes walk to the local cafes. 5 minutes walk and youre on the beach. We loved the minimalist yet 'everything we need' style of decor and kitchen set up. the front and rear yards are enough for kids to play in and the rear deck is great for home cooked breakfasts in the morning sun.

We enjoyed staying in this little cottage at Tempe. It suited us so well as it was near other family who live in the area. We were able to meet at the Tempe Hotel where you can get excellent meals. Easy walk to Woolworths and Aldi and public transport is at the end of the street.

Fantastic place to stay! House had everything we needed including a really well stocked kitchen for cooking. Beds were really comfy and there was plenty of room for us (two families with young kids) to have time together and space on our own. Highlight was seeing deer walking in the garden at dusk!

What a wonderful Airbnb experience this was, Paul’s place was sparkling clean, comfortable, well located, and communication was efficient with a late check out allowed. This was our second time in Avalon and we will definitely look to stay here in the future when visiting again.

We had a fantastic stay at Julie and Tony’s place! The house was beautiful, spotless and just perfect for our family of 4. Julie even brought 2 boxes of duplo around for my youngest which he loved it was a real personal touch that went a long way! The location was perfect a lovely park and basketball court and cafe at the bottom of the road which the boys loved, the train station is super handy to go into the city along with Uber taxis! Julie and Tony made us feel super welcome and were great hosts. If you are thinking of booking please do you won’t be disappointed it’s a perfect house to stay and we loved every minute.

Had a great stay at Deborah’s cottage. Nice cozy and private, a great base to visit Katoomba and other bushwalks but returning to quiet and privacy in Bilpin. Farm was an easy walk and nice stroll through to the animal feeding. Kids and I loved the donkeys goats cows pig and alpaca. Thanks for having us.
